Arctos portable ac review,okay this video is going to be about the arctos portable ac review and im just going to ,turn it on measure the temperature and see kind of um the features and how cold it gets ,what kind of air air flow it gets and uh see how it goes its first of all its fully portable ,um you can just charge it up i think it has like a two or three thousand milliamp ,uh battery inside so you can charge it up so were going to turn it on,and lets go the temperature,you can hear that thats the ac kicking in so,so its coming down at 50 thats on the low setting,its not too loud,all right so its 53 give it another minute and see if the minute,another second here let me stand back ,behind the camera so im about six feet away im gonna point the thermometer laser so its 50 so 53,lets turn it on to a higher setting lets see if that gets any colder,thats the medium so you definitely get a lot more air,still in the 50s,52,so this is the arctos portable ac kind of looks like the uh similar to the arctic air ,but the arctic air was not portable so this one is fully portable still cold air coming out,had this running for about 30 minutes now im just going to take another,so after 30 minutes it went up from 52 to 56 so thats still thats not for 30 minutes of cooling,all right so ill have a link below to the website if youre interested in this ,arctos air portable ac if you have any other questions uh leave a comment below thanks

okay this video is going to be about the,uh arctos,portable ac,uh compared to the,this is the chill air portable ac and,this is the blast auxiliary this is the,smallest unit this one is very similar,to the arctic air design,so,im going to test out the temperature,of all three of these real quick so you,guys can see,of the the arctos air lets see what,that ones coming out at,back up,so that was about 53,just to make sure,you have 53,on the arctos,the chill air,oh wow its,44 coming out of the,chill air portable ac,and the blast,auxiliary,its like 51,51 degrees,so,im just gonna show you,im gonna,the the,the quietest one is this one here and,its the biggest one its kind of,bulky,its not i mean its not that bulky but,compared to the other units,um its bigger it has a huge,uh filter inside let me show you so its,gonna this one is actually gonna last,the longest,um,just show you whats inside,just so you guys can see,look how big that is,thats how wide compared to the cut this,one off,the other units are about half the size,of uh filters in here so this ones,going to provide the,the best cooling from as far as,the,time,so its going to cool the longest its,kind of like the ugly ducking duckling,out of all three of these but,i like it i also like this one,the,this one is probably the best looking as,far as the design,its okay you have to do some,modifications to it to actually make it,work the best theres a pump in here,and sometimes you have to kind of,unclog it and this is the newest one,its called the arctos,very similar,to the arctic air let me cut this one up,a little bit,full power,so it actually came down,to 50,52 when you put it on the highest,setting,its still pretty good,back up here,stand back,so its still in the 50s

things,starting today this is my first time im,super excited um today i am reviewing,the arctos personal space cooler,um,its a beautiful box,it uh cools humidifies and its powerful,and uh yeah so product features we have,three speed controls,low medium high,evaporative air filter cools and,humidifies a top fill water tank for,quick and easy refills,perfect for the kitchen the bedroom the,office the gym,uh theres an led night light with seven,soothing colors,its adjustable air vent to put your air,where you want it uh long wrong,words long run time uh runs up to 10,hours per fill,and quiet operation for a peaceful,nights sleep,alright package contents we got a,personal space cooler replacement,evaporative air filter,wall adapter quick start guide,all right so lets open this bad boy up,we,have directions,cant go wrong with those,accord awesome,here it is,the arctos cooler,very sleek very simple,literally two buttons,a fan and a light i cant go wrong with,that,very easily thats nice,and then open to reveal,the filter,very cool,and just slide that right back in there,very easily and then you just slide it,back in okay and then i believe,oh yep heres the top comes right off,easy pretty sure thats where the water,goes,lets find out,so,lets see we have,personal space cooler,product guide,yep,air direction tab,we got the water tank door,mode indicator lights power fan speed,button,power port light on and off button,all right for setup set arctos on a flat,surface,flat uh attach power adapter to power,adapter ports,okay so we have our power adapter,plug it in,makes sense,and then lets see,were going to plug it right in back,here,okay,now thats done use the filter drawer,tab to pull out the filter drawer and,remove filter so we did that pulls out,slides up,picks up,very easy,uh for best results lightly pre-soak,under cold running water for even more,cooling power,a little tip for you,uh place a wet filter in the freezer,until frozen oh that would be nice so if,youre ever having an extra hot day,and uh you know you just want some more,fresh cool air,throw this filter in the freezer awesome,didnt know you put filters in the,freezer its great um get it wet and,just slide it back in,just like that,it looks like okay,oh all right,im gonna go with filter because uh,so you know all right so fill the water,tank by gently pouring water into the,center opening until level reaches,near the top,you can check by looking at the side of,the tank all right so we take this off,fill up with water use my nice new york,city starbucks coffee mug,all right i think thats enough,and then we put the lid back on,all right uh press the fan button to,turn arctos,on lets see what we got here,oh yeah that feels good,its like pushing 90 degrees outside and,my ac is not working so this right here,is a god,send,highly recommend it,okay,sit back,oh yeah no its good,good for us its not very loud thats,great seems like its quieter than a fan,then you got the three settings,okay,thats off,so it feels amazing ill tell you that,right now,uh and then,yeah oh and then we have the light so,lets take a look at these light colors,all right we got pink,purple,blue,other purple,nice turquoise green color,so cool,this would be great for,your children putting in the room,because its nice and quiet its very,calming its very peaceful,um and you know children love different,colors so,thats awesome okay cool,uh yep air direction tab,lower,beautiful,raise it up nice i would i would prefer,it to be,i would recommend it to be level,with where you want it,because it doesnt really face up,but it does go down,and it goes straight so as long as you,have the ac like straight on where you,want it uh youll be great,okay,um,i like the,color thats cute color,uh yeah so the color orders are blue red,oh white teal purple yellow green color,cycle im a pretty im i guess im uh,colorblind because,i dont know what i was saying,all right so maintenance uh this looks,like its very easy uh recommend weekly,cleaning of your arctos and filter to,keep in best working condition and,replacing the filter every three to six,months uh dishwasher,you place filter in the top rack of your,dishwasher run cycle normally remove and,let air dry,or hand wash,hand wash gently with warm water and,soap shake out excess water and let air,dry,uh oh this is cool so you can actually,between washes to sanitize your filter,place it in the microwave on high for 30,second increments up to two minutes and,then just let it sit until cool,okay now were on to unit cleaning,uh to prepare for cleaning run our dose,under all,until all water has emptied from the,water tank or hold our dose over a sink,and carefully dump out to avoid,splashing or spilling make sense remove,filter from tray for markdos using warm,soapy water light filter tray and grill,then rinse off until clean let air dry,if you notice water tank is dirty use a,small bendable brush toothbrush bottle,brush etc and carefully clean the inside,of the tank until clean,rinse it clean with warm water,okay,thats very straightforward,very simple i like it it feels amazing,um,yeah no its i like the the color,choices,you know the three speeds for air,you cant its very quiet which is,really good when it comes to choosing,a air conditioning unit uh its very,sleek its very simple,you know its,essentially,air conditioning for dummies you cant,figure this out then i would question,life,um im just kidding,anyway so yeah this is the arctos,personal space cooler again,i,i really like it it feels good its its,giving me some really good cool air and,i didnt put in the freezer and i didnt,wet the filter i just put the water in,the top so im very interested,to know how how it feels,um,with ARCTIC AIR PURE CHILL REVIEW – DOES IT WORK?
today im going to be reviewing the,arctic air pure chill,evaporative air cooler im filming this,in july,the heat is here and its going to get,worse before it gets better,now it depends on where you live but in,the south,summers are pretty brutal and thats,what really piqued my interest,in the arctic air pure chill i have seen,a minimal amount of reviews on this,product,and most were not all that positive but,anytime i want to review something,i intentionally try to avoid other,reviews because i dont want to see,anything or read anything,to influence my review so i did want to,give this a chance,and see if it works and to what degree,it actually works now this is basically,just a miniature version,of larger evaporative coolers and,larger evaporative coolers do work and,if youre not familiar with what,evaporative cooling is it just means,that it cools the air,through the evaporation of water which,is a little different than how an actual,air conditioner works,so itll pull in warmer air and the,water cools the air down,then its blown out with a fan now,looking at the box,it doesnt exactly show that it will,cool down a room anywhere,it does say that its great for,basements living rooms bedrooms etc,but it doesnt say that it would cool,the whole room down,maybe its just creative marketing now,in the south where air conditioning is a,requirement,i dont see something like this,replacing air conditioning,but if it could somewhat drop the,temperature or the felt temperature,it could be helpful by running the air,conditioner less,during the summer our power bill doubles,due to the air conditioner so i can see,the benefits of using,a device like this so lets take it out,the box and try it out,now one interesting feature of this,particular model,and i could be mistaken but i think this,is maybe the third,itineration of the arctic air is that it,contains,a uv light and nano silver,technology now can this little machine,purify the air and kill germs,effectively,i have no idea and theres really no,good way to test that but i dont,believe most people are buying this,for its ability to purify the air maybe,some more but i dont think thats the,big selling point,of the arctic air now the unit comes,with a power adapter,so i dont think theres any option for,batteries or,a mini usb charger it also has a thank,you card,and says 20 off your next purchase,and a product guide,i plug the arctic air in and per the,instructions,after you plug the unit in theres some,little clips here to run the,power cord in so it doesnt get caught,up in the fan so i did that,next this is the filter drawer,so ill pull that out and here is the,filter,it says for best results lightly,pre-soak,the filter under cold running water and,for even more cooling power,place a wet filter in the freezer until,frozen i dont really have time to,freeze the filter,but ill put it underneath the cold,running water and well see how that,works,okay before i put the filter in ill,show you theres really not much to this,unit,let me see if i can take the drawer out,its basically consists of a fan,the drawer where your cooling filter,will sit and,[Music],and the reservoir on the top for your,water,the tray is designed so that any water,that drips off the filter,will be caught in here of course the,sides are high the back,in the front arent quite as high but i,dont think there would be enough water,in here to actually run out and cause,any problems,okay im gonna put this back in,try to get my right drawer is in,and next i need to put some water in the,top i didnt see anywhere where it said,exactly how much water the reservoir,held,so i put three cups of ice water in here,and ill just pour it till it looks like,its about enough,all right that should be enough for the,video,put the lid back on,and i think were ready to test this,thing out,the vent louvers on the front are,movable so you can help direct the,airflow a little bit better,one thing that i forgot to mention,earlier is it does come with,some lights i guess like mood lights it,says it has blue,red white teal purple yellow green and,color cycle,so i dont know if the lights will work,without it being on,apparently not it says when you start,the unit itll default to the high speed,mode,it also says that it will run up to,eight hours on high,10 hours on medium and 12 hours on low,so lets go ahead and turn this thing on,and check it out,[Applause],[Applause],so heres the high speed and,i dont know i wouldnt say its exactly,quiet youre definitely gonna be able to,notice that,sound for some people it may not be an,issue you know if youre sleeping or,something like that some people like,some static noise in the background,but as far as the sound level on high,its definitely noticeable,so lets check out medium,[Music],still noticeable i believe its not,obnoxiously loud,but you definitely are going to know,this thing is on,and lets check out low,youre gonna get some noise from the,arctic air on all three,of the speed settings now i will say i,put the fan back here closer to the,camera so,you could get a better idea of how loud,it was and i do,feel a fair amount of cold air coming,out,on all three settings im gonna put it,back on high,[Music],im actually surprised at the amount of,cool air thats coming out of this,little machine,as i said earlier the few reviews that i,did see,really didnt give it much credit and,this is not going to replace an air,conditioner by any means,but so far it seems to be doing what,its supposed to do,lets change some of the light colors,so the lights are cool its a nice,little feature they added again that,would not be a selling point for me,but its still a nice feature ive let,the arctic air pure chill run for a,couple minutes now,i wanted to see if it was going to,vibrate or walk across the counter,and it hasnt moved and this is a fairly,slick surface,it does have four rubber feet so it,stayed in place very well,now when i was turning it i did have a,little bit of water spill,right out of this area here not that big,of a deal its not supposed to be moved,but it is something to just consider if,you do need to move it,that you need to be really careful with,it and i do have the water level,fairly full inside so now that i know,that the arctic air pure shield does,actually make cooler air how effective,is it going to be at cooling down,a room or area im still going to stand,by my opinion that i doubt its going to,cool down a whole room,maybe something small like a bathroom or,a really small,office it could help but lets see just,how much its going to cool down an,area im going to turn it,right here my thermometer says 73,degrees and 52,humidity i do have all the air,conditioners in the house off,so im gonna sit this about two feet,away in front of the arctic air,and just see what it shows after about,five minutes,okay five minutes is up and,[Music],74 degrees and 52 humidity,so i really didnt see much of a change,and i said it was about two feet apart,it was actually more,about 18 inches because it was right,here so i expected with the cooler air,coming out of the arctic air,that it would have dropped the,temperature a little bit,and it really hadnt actually the,humidity is now at,54 percent which i expect that because,its an evaporative cooler so its using,the water,to cool down the air but im really just,not seeing much difference with the,temperature,but again i can feel the cool air,blowing out and,it actually feels good,im going to keep the thermometer right,here and the arctic air pointed at me,for another five minutes,and i want to see what the temperature,reading is going to be on the,thermometer after that point in time,because remember,i dont have any air conditioners or,fans on in the house right now,ive given it another five minutes with,the arctic air pure chill,blowing back in this direction and the,thermometer sitting here and,something very interesting happened,the humidity level is lower which i,totally expect,since the arctic a
