– Ive never felt so close and special to a Chilis.,(upbeat music),Welcome to Chilis!,(laughing),Were here.,Were gonna eat 45 menu items,,a.k.a. all the most popular menu items.,I am beyond excited, also freezing cold.,So were just gonna go in and get very warm, happy,,and merry, and drink lots of margaritas and theres a car!,Gotta go.,This is a very highly requested video.,I dont know why it took us so long to finally get in here.,I am optimistic and I think that Chelseas gonna be eating,a lot of food today because theres no way,Im doing this all on my own.,- [Chelsea] Yeah.,(bouncy guitar music),- I feel like Im at a Super Bowl party,and Im the only one invited.,We have the Presidente Margarita,and fun fact, already, were already starting,with fun facts.,They sell enough of these margaritas in a year,that they can fill 13 swimming pools.,Im not sure what size swimming pools.,Im assuming they mean, like, Olympic size swimming pools.,My favorite thing is that it comes,in your own little shaker.,These are super, super sippable.,Were starting food wise with their Classic Nachos,,which, usually nachos are just a huge pile of chips,and then the cheese is all on the top,,and then everyone doesnt want the bottom chips,,and its just sad and soggy,,and this is actually the perfect way to eat your nachos,because each bite has the exact amount,of every part you want on it.,This is grade A (beep).,(nacho crunching),Thats a lot of chicken in one bite.,This is the smartest way to serve nachos, really.,Its just making sure that each person feels,like theyre getting the perfect bite.,Stop serving your nachos in piles,,start serving them like this.,We have a white queso dip right here,,which has some guac, a blanket of cheese,,and spinach, and (laughs) and a bunch of salsa.,I already have a feeling,Im gonna like this one more than this one.,I love, like, white cheddar-type flavors.,(chip crunching),Very smooth.,Its like a better spinach artichoke dip,because theres more cheese in it.,Next, were doing the Skillet Chili Queso.,Its just a bunch of cheese and a bunch of chili.,Surprise, chili at Chilis.,(chip crunching),Its super meaty.,I like this one more.,That ones my winner.,This one, its much more chili than cheese.,I would say.,At least the flavor wise, it might be a (beep) ton,of cheese in here.,Okay, cheese fries, loaded with bacon, jalapeno.,We got, what is that, scallions?,It has the right amount of, like, salty, cheesy,flavor that makes you feel like youre at a party,,but what Im way more distracted by and want to talk about,is the Southwestern egg rolls over here.,So Im gonna actually just take the fries and just say,,”Auf wiedersehen.”,Bye bye.,- [Chelsea] Did you wanna do the dip with it?,- Oh.,We know what cheesy fries taste like in ranch.,We know its amazing.,(mumbling),It tastes way better with the ranch.,Weve got their Triple Dipper here,because you can dip each,of these things into their own unique dips.,So we have our Southwestern egg rolls.,We got our boneless wings,,and then we have our big mouth bites.,This is a slider filled with bacon and onions,,and probably an aioli, and cheddar.,Im assuming this is the dip for it.,Im gonna touch it with my finger cause I am gross.,Okay.,This is gonna take a while.,(mumbling),This is a really good slider.,I think its the bacon and the onions.,I know its the bacon and the onions.,Sliders are usually just, like, too much bread for me,,but this one has the right amount.,Its actually a decent size patty.,Its a cute little patty but its a decent size.,It actually fits the bread perfectly.,Happy about that.,Were doing their boneless wings,,and this might be blue cheese or this might be ranch.,We know how we feel about this.,(chewing loudly),(magical harp music),Blue cheese.,Its the right amount of spicy where you can eat, like,,five of them and then it finally hits you.,Which is the perfect, perfect way for it to go.,Southwestern egg rolls over here.,These are a huge fan favorite here.,People love the (beep) out of these Southwestern egg rolls.,They got beans, they got corn, they got peppers, tomatoes,,onions, and I think I would add a bunch of avocado to it.,Okay.,This dipped in the, like, queso, yeah, no, were doing that.,Thats where this is going right now.,New game plan, dont dip it in any of these.,Just buy the queso dip,so you can dip your egg rolls into it.,That is so good.,A fried pickle disk.,We have ranch, we have fried pickles.,I am burpy.,I am already, like, I.,(grunting),Okay.,(mumbling),These are super breaded.,I like the ranch with it.,Its like a mozzarella stick,but for people who really like pickles.,Thats a dumb thing to say.,Its a fried pickle, you know what they taste like.,These are better than the french fries, though.,I like these way more.,We also have the onion blossoms, the fried onion blossoms.,Petals.,Petals, not blossoms.,They were a blossom and now theyre a petal,cause they took them apart.,Oh, its much sweeter than I expected.,Im gonna do a gross thing and lick the seasoning.,Its oddly a little bit sweet and Im so confused by it,,but they said it was a Cajun Southwest seasoning.,But then this sauce has the perfect amount of like,,kapow!,So then it all levels out together.,We have some table side guac here.,(chip crunching loudly),These chips have the best sound ever.,It tastes like very fresh, traditional guac.,You wanna put it on everything.,Oh.,I really have to say,,the chips are one of my favorite things here.,Theyre super crispy.,Fun fact, they are bottomless,,so you can just get,a bunch of this with your salsa over here.,I think the chips are, like,,a saving grace for all the dips.,If I had to rank this round, Im giving it to the nachos,and to the Southwestern egg rolls.,(upbeat guitar music),There are so many knives on this table.,Lets start with this Queso Burger.,Its basically that queso dip sauce,that we had just a few minutes ago,,just doused on top of the burger,,and a bunch of tortilla chips,,theyre super crunchy and crispy.,I love that queso dip.,I should not go in for a second bite.,Thats gonna be my favorite.,I have a feeling.,Obviously, theyre gonna put chili,on top of one of their burgers.,Why would they not?,And it looks like, bunch of like, cheddar cheese.,Okay.,I like the other one more.,This is Alexs burger.,It has a bunch of avocado in here.,Weve got, is that cilantro?,Oh, theres cilantro.,Theres, I think thats a white cheddar cheese, onions.,Theres a chef at Chilis thats been here, basically,,forever, and this is his burger that he created,,and then everyones been obsessed with it since.,And, fun fact of the day is that he actually was here today,and made it, so I feel extra special.,I am the cutest person ever right now.,This might be better than the queso.,Its super juicy, as you can tell,,Im, like, spilling out of my mouth.,Its like you get a right amount of, like, tanginess to it.,I dont need to keep eating it.,This Berry Blitzened Margarita here has strawberry,,it has blackberry, it has tequila,,it has actual little Blitzen.,Although, it has, oh my God its a chili on the nose.,Wait, I was about to be like, Blitzen is Rudolph,cause he has a red nose.,They literally put a chili on his nose.,And they put actual little logos of Chilis,on the ugly sweater its wearing.,It tastes like a candy, I cant get over it.,Were eating an Old Timer Burger.,Its like for the boomers of the world.,Super classic burger, you got your cheese,,you got your red onion, pickles, tomatoes, lettuce,,meat, and then mustard and a little bit of mayo.,I feel like this is not the best bite,,I think the centers the best bite of a burger,,but I keep doing this because its easier.,But this is where the juiciness is, is right there.,Im just gonna go for it.,(lively country rock music),Its a standard burger.,Its very just classic, simple, your baseline of a burger.,Were on the today Applebees and Chilis go rib to,rib lets talk about that good mythical,morning we cover two classic Merle,Haggard songs and press them on vinyl we,did this is it this rare collectible is,totally exclusive to third degree,members of the mythical Society so sign,up by September 30th to get this thing,only at mythical society calm okay,yes now in June we saw Outback,Steakhouse take Texas Roadhouse down to,that land down under for proofing,without a doubt to us the Outback was,the uncontested best in our opinion,between the two rival restaurants but,heres the thing,Outback and Road house arent the only,two chains throwing shade at each other,which brings us to Applebees vs. chili,yes okay so a couple years back Twitter,went wild after one user salad from the,bees didnt quite live up to,expectations haze tweeted so I ordered,the southwestern steak salad at,Applebees tonight and this was the,outcome I understand that food isnt,always going to look like pictures but,dot dot dot you know youre having a bad,night when your salad catfishes you,needless to say Chilis diehard fans,were quick to respond like Kingston,Baldy play a mistake number one you went,to Applebees instead of Chilis lol ok,then Chilis social team officially,threw down the gauntlet by tweeting this,we are humans we all make mistakes once,in a while but were right here just,waiting to make this wrong or right,Chilis grill and bar swooping in with,the weak hey listen the stage has,clearly been set and this beef must be,cool yes Applebees Chilis two iconic,Titans in the pantheon of chain,restaurants but which Titan will remain,after a head-to-head battle for ultimate,casual dining supremacy its time for,food Foods Applebees vs. Chilis,okay were gonna taste signature dishes,from each restaurant head-to-head and we,are going to rate them each on a scale,of one to ten in the end the winner will,be crowned the absolute uncontested best,casual dining restaurant of all neighborhood,Annie Im Annie see that and we have,some delicious chicken wonton tacos for,you okay you dont seem too confident I,have some debilitating student loads,okay working on our tip thank you Annie,alright and that would be vs. hey whats,up chili hats its your boy Chilis Chaz,and Im here to help you that I had my,tuition paid for by my parents and these,are southwestern egg rolls and theyre,delicious and theyre way better than,whatever that cardboard is I have had,these I have had those and remembered,liking them yeah Ive never had these no,okay with some lines are a little bit,soggy,and weve been told by our culinary,expert mythical chef Josh good that that,is what happens when these are to go but,this wouldnt be the case if it was out,the restaurant so were not gonna hold,the sogginess against it okay its not,gonna be easy to do just pretend that,its crispy oh that was crispy thatd be,really good yeah the taste is so great,I can almost pretend it was crispy maam,here is crispy whatever a crunch to it,now this Southwest this is like legend,but then you open it youre like oh good,god that looks ugly,that looks great too mean its got black,beans in there cheese you do your little,onions you got to do the dip in dip,so again were reading both these on a,scale of one to ten maam assuming full,Kris penis mm with us Im sorry I got a,double dip that sauce is good this is,pretty difficult because that both of,them are good Im gonna add an,additional two points in my head for,Kris penis I think I would give these as,six but Im adding two points hmm to,make it an eight okay Im gonna give,that a seven Im gonna give this an,eight barely edging it out Im giving,that thats almost a perfect appetizer,in my book Wow Im giving it a nine okay,this is food food all began over a sad,Apple beef salad,you know we had to take it there bring,out the rabbit food yeah Chilis Chazz,up in the house yeah this is the Santa,Fe chicken salad its pretty sick youre,gonna love it,salad described as sick Annie bring it,on in,so this is not the salad oh the steak,doesnt exist anymore,right this is our um grilled chicken,tender salad okay you sound like youre,on the verge of tears you know what just,take it just take it take a breath,yeah yeah yeah Im gonna lemon water,through a straw,Wow okay Im just puttin the honey on,just across the top I hope shes gonna,be okay yeah I think it all comes down,to our tip all right so Im Im Im,going in fully dress it you dont want,to have dress salad,Im trying to get everything except,tomatoes Ive never seen a man so,technically approach a salad you only,get one bite at this thing thank you,well stinky who made up that rule then,the zesty dressing it tastes like,chicken tender dipping sauce okay its,like a honey mustard with finger,something else in it I didnt know they,use that on salads anymore anymore like,since when this is the sister to crisis,is the tinder dip took over its a bit,much for me its not enough for me,enough what you like the I like pizzazz,youre like more pizzazz yeah I want to,know what what I mean now theres no Oh,bite back a little bit so that ones got,the hard-boiled egg but this ones got,the avocado,now right off the bat the flavor profile,of this out is much better for me,personally but I dont want that to be,the only determining factor because some,people may like this you know this is,very middle of the road its a safe,salad I dont like my salad safe I like,my salad sassy um I also prefer those,women its got a little spice Im big,into the avocado but its still just,kind of a crappy salad Im gonna give,this one a 6,yeah,Im somewhere between a 5 and a 6,because their salads could be so much,better Ill go with a 6 though because I,do like the spice Im gonna give this a,4 its just honey mustard has moved on,its just for tenders I dont want to,judge it based on the choice of dressing,because I so you could get another type,of dressing Ive already given my scores,so Im gonna just say that somebody out,there would want these ingredients in a,salad but judging these ingredients on,their own merits I cant give it more,than a 3 Im sorry,Wow yeah and that didnt really help,definitely looking forward to this,head-to-head something a legend barbecue,sauce dripping ribs knocking down an e,bring bring some confidence this is our,famous double glazed touch a Chilis,check these ribs they need no,introduction you already know wow you,want it where do you want to start,Chiles is known for their ribs so I,feel like we should we should start with,apple now back when my mom and I used to,visit the Applebees we would have many,moms son dates and wed always go with,the Riblet basket they still do that I,dont know thats not a bit real huh you,dont have to eat the whole rib yeah,thats not great thats not good I like,the sauce,I do not like the sauce you dont the,sauce has a like a mass-produced quality,like when we taste the barbecue sauces,and there was one that you know the the,big brands had that kind of almost,plasticky taste um not much sauce was,very low sauce on these on the chiles,rib the meat falls off the bone a little,bit more more it chokes you choke you a,little with more efficacy but this is,also not a good rib I actually thought,there was more of a soft sensation and,there actually it I mean on the scale of,ribs and what you cant experience in,the world of ribs,neither of these ribs is doing a lot of,damage to the ribs Gail know what I mean,yeah hmm okay do you have your scores,yeah I actually thought that we were,gonna be wowed by these ribs so Im,really disappointed and Im really,hungry Im so easy to impress right now,I didnt eat breakfast what do you give,an Applebees three what I like the,sauce better than you Im Why Is Chilis Food So Bad?

[Music],the house was silent,the first thing i decided to do was dash,into my office,and say to myself nobody wants to see,all of that man but a dame,luckily for you ive already had one of,my one time for the one time,merch shirts laying on my office chair,you can get a shirt at www dot dame,drops merch,after covering up the fat i had one,burning question in my mind,why doesnt anyone want to eat at,chilis anymore,i decided to open up the laptop slide on,over to yelp,and get right to the reviews this two,and a half star rating,was not sexy at all this is what the,people had to say,it was a friday night got out of work,wanted something to eat,that was quick sat down and ordered our,drinks and food,i ordered the new chick chick sandwich,and fries,came with blue cheese bacon lettuce,tomatoes and avocado,my avocado was brown and old looking i,complained and she brought me a new one,no big deal,about 15 minutes after were all done,eating,we all had bad stomach pains and gas,along with diarrhea,we all ate and drank the same thing i,will never be going back here,second time dining at this location,first time was a great experience,though this time was quite the opposite,we dined in the bar,area and our server was barbara very,unpleasant experience,all around and we are disappointed at,the service provided,our first complaint is that our server,took 20 minutes,to give a drink to my friend and it,wasnt the right drink,two the chicken tenders tasted more,rubbery in a smaller portion,than the previous time we went 3. we,never received napkins during our,experience,4. we only saw her once every 15 minutes,despite needing the sauces refills on,water napkins containers,receiving the right drink and the bill,okay i understand its a chain featuring,so-so food,and most people going there are,perfectly fine eating,carb-laden meals full of rice,beans and corn but i wish theyd offer,something a little more health conscious,the salads are tasteless completely,uninspired,and nondescript and still included beans,and corn,and the servers are unable unwilling to,modify,anything because i think everything is,pre-made and they just dump it on a,plate,i can overlook a lot because again im,not expecting five-star food and service,at chilis,but wilted lettuce and small black hairs,in the food,are an enormous turn off needless to say,let me shut my laptop head over to the,batmobile,and make my way to chilis right now,[Music],[Music],all right foodie fan for those of you,that are already familiar with my best,in my worst series,when they play music on the inside of,the establishment because of youtube,rules and regulations,copyrights and all the good stuff i have,to do a voiceover while,filming on the inside so let me walk you,through my meal,so we can take it back to yo and i can,type up exactly how i feel,now i wanted to start with the honey,chipotle tenders,now i wont stunt i will not stop foodie,fam,even though i seen that one piece that,looked like it was missed when they were,dipping it,in the honey chipotle batter and it was,looking a little more on the butt naked,side,i still took a bite and there was,extreme flavor,with not just the sweet but the slightly,spice,of that chipotle mixed in and it really,made the chicken tenders pop because,they were already,juicy on the inside if it was a dry,tender i would have been all in my,feelings,so chilis for your honey chipotle,tenders,youre already starting off on the good,foot family,now i went over to the brisket side let,me tell you something about brisket for,those that do not know,brisket needs to be smoked for a long,time,for that bad boy to get a tender fender,bender toy,the the chilis brisket looked like it,was doing nothing but smoking cigarettes,there was no 13-hour smoke on this,brisket,this might have been uh some type of,brisket where,you know it went on the fast cook,because it is a faster service,though not considered fast food do not,expect for your brisket to get the full,amount of love that it actually deserves,to preserve all of that great flavor to,it because all theyre gonna do,is smoke it up real quick probably add a,little sauce to it,boom bap thats all youre gonna get,its inside of the quesadilla,quesadilla had a light crisp to it we,had green peppers going on for extra,flavor,extra breath not so much compliment in,the brisket,because the brisket wasnt even doing,good enough on its own,to need something else to complement it,was just okay,im talking about two and a half maybe a,three on a good day type okay,nothing that great the garlic bread come,on baby,yall didnt even try with the garlic,bread now when you go to the frozen food,section,of your local grocery spot youre going,to see texas toast,garlic bread up off in there it looks as,if thats what chilis might have done,they might have went up the street to,stop and shop went up the street to a,piglet wiggly,you know what im saying a while,whatever the case may have been,grabbed up some of that frozen garlic,bread toss it up off in the oven,boom bap hold that now i still had a,nice crisp to it because,i mean even frozen garlic bread is not,that bad but again nothing to write home,about,the fries these fries are utter and,sheer,why meat fries why me baby,i took a bite out of their fries these,fries did not bite back the only thing,these fries did were they they allowed,extra grease to slide on down,i didnt taste no potato whatsoever i,did get,fried grease though fried crunchy grease,sticks,i did not sign up for these i didnt ask,for these,they threw them my way said shut your,face eat this grease,shut your face eat this grease i mean,i look i am no im no professor of the,street corn game,i just know that theres a special,cotija,type cheese correct me in the comment,section im pretty sure im messing it,up,but i had it in my travels ive actually,had real mexican street corn,for the first time and it was everything,my mans told me it was like a,a special type of cheese uh uh what it,would it with a coke,cotija kodi shot cotija cheese,some some some mayos up in there some,sour corn,sour caramels up in there a chili powder,and and what lime maybe,i dont know look fam at the end of the,day thats what they try to capture,here at chilis and im sorry you,captured it,but the net had a hole in it so you,captured nothing,you was trying to get all that up into,the street corn game it escaped,and what you left me with was colorful,corn,with no flavor i seen everything you,wanted to put on there,to make it really pop make it really,stand out on that bite it was just,it was a goose type bite it was gushy,i need my corn to be crisp i need it for,myself i need for my tongue to be able,to,decipher the flavor separate them taste,all the flavors take it all into the,palate,and tantalize my taste buds i didnt get,none of that chili,chili no no no and at the very end,i had told her i wanted a barbecue,a bbq bacon chicken barbecue bacon,chicken,thats i try to save the best for last,thats what you do right,the chicken was dry it was einstein was,dry,it was a even though it was dry it still,had a decent little bite to it,decent little decent little i was more,upset,that the cheese that was supposed to be,melted on my chicken,with the bacon within the cheese,came off like a bad wig piece,you know what im saying like you know,when dudes got to remove the hair,they didnt get the hair plugs popping,off just right so they put the wig piece,on,wig piece be all over to the side moving,about,i took my knife yo you didnt see no,cheese sticking,to the chicken at all it just came off,like a wig yo,dad should have told me everything i,needed to know about that barbecue bacon,chicken,they should have told me dang this aint,it doggy,this aint it anyway all right man im,basically gonna go ahead go back to the,crib yall,get on yo type out my dissertation about,chilis over here in uh newington man on,the bronx turnpike,im really hoping things get better with,this worst series i thought do,but for now

ah,i am just so spicy,guys back in the day chilis theme song,was so iconic,it was on all the commercials and it has,stuck in my brain,and it went a little something like this,jellies baby,guys today i am taste testing,chilis entrees theyre dinners theyre,lunches things like that,i have taste tested their appetizers so,its time to try,the meals now quick little disclaimer i,did not get the whole entree menu,because its huge and it would cost,so much money all this was like 120,without fees and tips but i did get nine,meals,um with like all different sides and i,did not get anything from their burger,menu because they have such a huge,burger menu,i was like let me save that and make,that its own video,trying chilis burgers right thumbs up,if you want that future video,um but today yeah its the meals its,gonna be so much fun i have so many,things like pasta,bowls sandwiches everything so,lets go through everything i got i got,the cajun chicken pasta,the ultimate smokehouse combo which is,like a bunch of different meats and,sides,its gonna be great its like a barbecue,moment okay i got the ranchero chicken,tacos,the beef bacon ranch quesadillas crispy,chicken crispers,honey chipotle crispers and waffles,buffalo chicken ranch sandwich chipotle,chicken fresh mex,bowl and a quesadilla explosion,salad sounds like a diarrhea explosion,at the same time,thats all the meals but all the meals,come with sides so lets go through,the sides that i got as well roasted,asparagus,we love making our piss smell like trash,like literal trash thank you asparagus,texas cheese fries,black beans mexican rice awesome blossom,petals,fries corn on the cob loaded mashed,potatoes and thats it,so we have a lot of things to try today,so lets unbox,everything first things first we have,the bowl this is the bowl um it is in,styrofoam,which i think is bad for the um,environment right so is plastic,so would you guys say that like paper,boxes are like the best,environmental packaging i think so right,anyways,off topic this looks great its quite,heavy,um the presentation is nice it has like,little different piles of things,chicken cheese now this is the cajun,chicken pasta yes,with i think bread well see that soon,um,this looks delicious,the quesadilla explosion salad so we,have like,four little quesadilla corners here,besides the quesadillas it looks like a,pretty,basic salad im not feeling any,explosive firework moments im just,feeling,take out salad okay the ranchero chicken,tacos with the rice and beans oh yes,the tacos come in like little papers,like to keep them i guess from like,getting stuck together,and like im getting soggy they look,great um the mexican rice looks,very boring is this actually mexican,rice,it is it looks like brown rice it has,like no color,nothing and then we have the black bean,side too,these look pretty good though okay now,this,is the buffalo ranch sandwich i think,that is a massive piece of chicken love,that,um and i got it with loaded mashed,potatoes potatoes smell very,earthy now this is the um i think it was,beef and something um quesadilla it just,looks kind of,like but it might taste incredible um we,have three,dipping sauces also so thats great now,these are,the chicken crispers the crispy chicken,crispers,so its like chicken tenders but like,thinner i guess and it comes with,corn on the cob and fries and i think,ranch and then we have the,barbecue type meal like the ultimate,smokehouse something,i got ribs brisket bacon,cheese chicken a piece of bread and some,asparagus this is a very big portion,very heavy,i am ready for all the meat say it with,me we got the meat,now these are the honey chipotle um,chicken crispers,on top of waffles it smells very um,very smoky i dont know if its good,smoky or bad smokey,but it smells like a damn forest now we,have some sides that were packaged,separately um we have the awesome,blossom petals,so its just like outback steakhouse,blaming our yarn,but just off of the onion um and then,these are supposed to be,the texas cheese fries but i dont see,any toppings,so i think that they forgot the cheese,and the texas,dont worry im gonna get my little,refund for this test,everything and of course im going to be,totally honest and,rate everything from one to ten well,see whats good and whats not at least,in my opinion,first up lets try the ranchero chicken,tacos,[Music],the ranchero chicken tacos were 11.59,they have avocado chicken a lot of,cheese,um some sort of sour crema pico de gallo,a lot of cilantro lets take off some of,that because im just not a huge fan,um but yeah these look great theres a,dog barking somewhere,its not my dogs,can you hear it i hear it anyways lets,try it,um,theres ranch on this,oh my goodness,and its good ranch,[Music],this is delicious oh my god,so the ranch is like a restaurant ranch,creamy,tangy flawless the chicken is very real,it does not taste processed it tastes,like it was grilled and then sliced,perfection theres so much shredded,cheese on here,and it gives it such a salty delicious,flavor,the pico de gallo is great the avocado,is great honestly its a perfect taco,like im very very happy with that,one those tacos are a 10 out of 10.,beautiful so now lets try the rice and,beans,so like i said the rice does not look,like mexican rice it looks just like,plain brown rice,lets smell it um,[Music],thats brown rice that was not mexican,rice what in the lords name,why would they give me brown rice thats,so nasty,listen ill eat brown rice when im,trying to be healthy but i dont enjoy,it,and i definitely dont want it when im,expecting delicious mexican rice,you know like the tomatoiness that is a,0 out of 10 because i was expecting,something amazing and it was,trash horrible so lets try the black,beans,now i am half cuban so i know my black,beans hello,simple good enough,and they dont have like a strong flavor,but they do have a liminess to them,and they do have enough salt and all the,times american,restaurants love to make beans and just,make beans without any salt or anything,its just beans you know,these at least have salt and lime so im,here for them so,rice is zero beans are six which is a,good rating for,american made beans american restaurant,beans you know,overall the whole meal is a nice eight,next up lets try,um crispy chicken crispers buttery flaky,crisper,[Music],this whole meal was 11.29 thats not bad,at,all its a sit-down restaurant um we,have corn on the cob,fries and a bunch of these chicken,crispers um there are,i think about five of them in here and,we have ranch,oh it smells good lets first try the,fries,um,theyre pretty good fries im not crazy,about them but theyre theyre not bad,theyre crispy enough they have just,enough salt but also,they have no outstanding flavor theyre,typical basic fries so,im gonna give those a 5 out of 10.,lets try the corn on the cob now i got,my permanent,retainer taken off recently it used to,be difficult for me to eat things like,this but um now i have a,nighttime one that i use so fancy lets,try it,[Applause],im gonna see these tomorrow morning in,the toilet,[Applause],corn always tastes and dry produce and then i have to,chop up the carrots the lemon and then,drain and rinse the beans,okay so now its time to cook the soup,im gonna add some olive oil into a pot,and then im just gonna add my sweet,italian chicken sausage,there we go,[Music],now im going to add my carrots,and some salt,im going to let this cook for a couple,minutes until the carrots get a little,bit soft in the oh today is a big one im going to be,taste testing every single,appetizer on the chilis menu to let you,guys know,which ones are the best i have been on a,two-hour journey that cost me,about 180 but its gonna be worth it,once i can sink my teeth,into all of these delicious chilis,appetizers there are so many to choose,from,and weirdly theyre all the same color,thats how you know its gonna be a but,almost a necessary,appetizer for a southern gal like me at,a chain restaurant,looking for a elevated food experience,since were on the fried train literally,me this entire video,im gonna move on to the crispy cheddar,bites,its like a sweet release those are,delicious,this is one of their sliders i think,they called it the big one or the big,ones or the big fried or,ill put it on the screen its a slider,its nothing groundbreaking,man if that doesnt taste exactly like,the way chilis logo looks,when you look at that logo the flavor in,your mouth is exactly the flavor of that,burger restaurant burgers are so,iconic i can never make my burgers taste,like restaurant burgers,what is up with that they put some sort,of weird msg mixture in there that we,dont know about because that,is unduplicatable this was a new,addition that was quite shocking to me,theyre blooming onion strips,so its almost like outback but with,less girth,no shade to outback because i will be,doing an outback video soon i prefer,this over the blooming onion because you,know sometimes when they be frying up,that blooming onion they dont put,enough breading dripping sauce on it,before they fry it and i love a bloom,and onion dont get me wrong but i,really like it to crunch when you have,it in strips like this you can really,get the breading all,around it so theyre extra crispy where,do i go next,oh i know exactly where were going,everybody buckle up,this is chilis perfection this is the,one thing i would order every single,time i go to chilis as a matter of fact,this might be one of my favorite chain,restaurant restroom,no not jane restroom favorites i dont,think i have any chain restroom,favorites,this is one of my chain restaurant,favorite foods of all time,this tastes like straight as on a,report card you know when you finally,make sure it is and your parents like,were about to celebrate were gonna,take you to,chiles and youre like yeah living life,to the fullest,all right lets talk about guacamole,if its not an authentic mexican,restaurant guacamole to me,this is too smushed true guacamole fans,will know guacamole can be pureed too,much,and this is almost like a spread i like,my guac,thick and chunky with lots of fun parts,to chew,chilis offers nachos with chicken beef,and just plain vegetarian i got the beef,version because i have a lot of chicken,back here its kind of,actually grossing me out when i think,about chickens back there but i needed,to spice it up with some beef so here,are the beef nachos i love a jalapeno,jalapenos,are one of the most special gifts from,god that were ever given to us,that and granny panties big fan why,dont i like that,i think its the beef i thought it was,like a different kind of beef it was a,little surprising in a weird way i dont,know i actually might like it without,the beef lets talk about dips,queso is a new found love of mine what,is this,this entire thing was full of green,stuff like lettuce and stuff,and about this much of its queso the,trickery aint no party like a queso,party because the queso party dont stop,making you want to go to the bathroom i,will say nothing beats chilis tortilla,chips theyre so thin and flaky,i know why theyre stingy with it now,youre like dont come too much of that,cause oh that,this is so nice they for sure love this,because they did not want to give me,too much of it i love loaded fries these,have jalapeno,and onions and theres just something,thats comforting about this,it almost like tastes like a breakup you,know like you broke one up with someone,youre like i gotta get to my nearest,chilis to order,some freaking bloated french fries stats,weve all been there right,what a classic its lovely its very,difficult to do a loaded cheese fry well,to go they nailed it its time for,the wing round chilis offers multiple,kinds of wings,weve got boneless wings weve got,bone-in wings and then we have just,chicken crispers theyre just like,chicken strips so winter winter chicken,dinner,i dont know which one is which but we,are gonna just explore you know what,maybe we should just do,lets start with the bang were gonna do,the loaded boneless wings,so its basically what we just,experienced with the french fries but,with chicken instead,oh theres queso also on here oh my gosh,okay okay its good but can i just say,that dish,is too much its too much the 12 year,old me,was thrilled by what i just experienced,its just,one thing too many fried chicken with,queso dip all over it and bacon on its,just,she needs to sit down for a moment,current me in the past,doesnt know what boneless wing this is,im gonna put the name of them on the,screen because future me will,be enlightened and no pray for me,heres the first boneless option okay,not too bad a little sweet a little,spicy not bad is bw3s quaking though,really thats the question,boneless wig number do i think thats,two in french,dont quote me because i didnt take,french almost like an asian sweet,barbecue,i like that one it was sweet but not too,sweet,had a nice smoky barbecue twist boneless,wing number three,that ones forgettable its got honey,that you can sort of taste but it almost,wants to be a flavor and it doesnt know,which one it wants to be id give that,like a seven and a half out of ten,going in with the plain one so if she,stays inside the lines,nothing good happens inside of the lines,folks so its a girl who never,had her art on the refrigerator growing,up im just kidding,im not a mean on the bone kind of gal,it kind of grosses me out a little bit,because im like i have all the parts,here who knows what part i might be,chewing on next you know,not always my favorite but im going to,eat it because i love you guys,here we go thats a classic barbecue,okay again,its really hard to follow a bw3s,boneless wing taste test because all of,those flavors are so,powerful and epic this is more of a,classic standard,appreciatory flavor but just kind of,normal,going into what i believe to be the,buffalo wing,oh thats nice i like a buffalo wing,actually this is boneless i was eating,it like there was a bone in it,here is the buffalo wing as far as meat,on a bone goes,i take this one home i dont get the,appeal of wings,i understand that theres an association,of sports and sports bars,i could literally live the rest of my,life and never eat a chicken wing again,and be very I Ate the Most EXPENSIVE Steak at Chilis ????

so Catherine and I thought it would be,fun to go to Chilis and order the most,expensive steak on the menu,now Chilis has all sorts of appetizers,salads and sandwiches even a Guiltless,Grill,and big mouth burgers,season fajitas Smokehouse combos Texas,size baby back ribs perfect pastas were,looking over the appetizers and,everything sounds so good because you,have just a really wide variety from a,white spinach queso to fried pickles but,what were going to be getting is the,triple Dipper its a chance for you to,have three appetizers in one and it,comes with three dipping sauces this,cost 15.19 your choice of three you can,go you can pick up the fried mozzarella,Southwestern egg rolls boneless wings,Big Mouth bites which are sliders Crispy,Chicken Crispers honey chipotle chicken,crispers and fried pickles were going,to be getting the Boneless Wings the big,mouth bites and the Southwestern egg,rolls now after the appetizers we are of,course getting our steaks and theyve,got a classic sirloin,for 15.49 for a six ounce 21 19 for a 10,ounce but theyve got a classic rib eye,for 22.69,and it doesnt say how many ounces it is,so I guess well have to ask about that,but they also let you or a half or a,full order of shrimp you can add to that,might have to do that too well Dereks,getting the classic rib eye Im feeling,like ribs its Chilis,but you can get a full order of baby,back ribs or a half order and it comes,with fries and coleslaw you can upgrade,your side with roasted street corn for a,dollar again the full order comes with,your choice of two sauces you have three,to choose from House Barbecue honey,Chipotle and dry rub I want to get the,dry rub and the House Barbecue all right,we just put our order we asked how big,is that rib eye steak it doesnt say in,ounces like it says about the sirloin,our server didnt know exactly what she,said she thought it was around 12 ounces,so well go with that so lets see if we,can add up how many calories were going,to be consuming here today at Chilis,the triple jipper right here we got the,Southwestern egg rolls thats 580,calories,the big mouth bites 780 calories,and the Boneless Wings,600 to 660 calories,Ill just go 660.,youre getting the baby back ribs full,order,its a full order which is,looks like about 2 230 calories,and I upgraded to the corn the corn you,know but you didnt get the fries that,might take off a few calories there hope,so I was gonna say and Im getting the,steak,the classic ribeye steak,that is a mere 630 calories,of course I did add the full order of,shrimp for just 60 calories,is that right I should just come here,and eat shrimp maybe these are grilled,maybe thats why theyre grilled shrimp,not bad 60 calories,they got a new game day lineup menu here,as well,you get,Philly cheesesteak curly fries wings and,curly fries and Sliders and curly fries,yeah lots of drinks too,mostly lots of curly fries so this is,the triple Dipper appetizer this looks,pretty good sliders boneless wings,Southwestern egg rolls I dont know,where to start so Im going to start,with the appetizer closest to me which,is the big mouth bite they look like,theyre almost on like a Hawaiian bread,roll so Im just gonna split this so we,each have one thats like almost like a,White Castle slider has a chopped,grilled onions inside a little bit of,cheese a little tiny Patty too does that,look like a little white yeah,yeah,okay Ill also get one of these,Southwestern egg rolls here theres so,theres two cut UPS we have to four,pieces so we each get two and the wings,the Boneless Wings yeah the Boneless,Wings you pick Buffalo for a boneless,buffalo wings all right lets try the,slider,how is it,its actually pretty good,[Music],little pink but actually taste pretty,good,it looks like grilled onions too yeah,all right brother thats pretty good,yeah thats pretty thick its also,pretty pink lets try this egg roll,Southwestern egg roll,its a little messy its falling out but,its actually pretty good too its like,spinach or something or,chili cheese for sure,[Music],oh black bean and corn,somebody would make it Southwestern I,want to try the Southwestern egg roll,now too but Im gonna dip it in the,avocado ranch,I know these all look like the same,Ranch but were told this is the avocado,one for these egg rolls,kind of reminds me of a chimichanga yeah,because its deep fried this is good I,like the seasoning in the like with the,filling I think its just really quite,good all right lets try this buffalo,wing boneless wing and the ranch,its kind of Tangy a little bit spicy,and then the chicken meat very juicy,now Ill try the buffalo wings the,boneless buffalo wings a bit of the,ranch sauce here,this is more bite-sized cutting it in,half for me,I love the kicks of the buffalo sauce,but the ranch pulls it down,yeah that was a good combination and the,meat is really good the chicken meats,really tasty yeah very moist for him,thank you thank you,ribs yes here thank you,thank you wow,look at those ribs they look pretty good,look at this steak,and your shrimp and shrimp this is it,this is the most expensive steak at,Chilis its the ribeye steak with the,full order of shrimp added and the,loaded mashed potatoes,and asparagus and you have ribs yes I,have to get the baby back ribs at,Chilis I have a full rack of ribs here,to the first half has the house barbecue,sauce and this half has the dry rub its,very different yeah I replaced my fries,with an order of the roasted street corn,and see a bit of the traditional roasted,street corn toppings here and it came,with coleslaw nice,now I ordered a full order of shrimp to,go on top of this ribeye steak so lets,see how many shrimp are in a full order,one two three four five six seven eight,nine ten eleven number eleven is a,little tiny so,10 10 or 11.,thats the full order of shrimp on the,ribeye steak now lets see how the steak,looks on the inside yes I ordered it,immediately,[Music],look at that all right Id say thats,about media yeah,all right lets try it,okay here we go,not mad it has that Char flavor like a,like a steak and it has a nice chew like,a,like a more like a sirloin but,its a rib eye all right so how are,these ribs yeah lets find out Im gonna,have to cut off one at a time start oh,well have to cut or will they just kind,of come off lets see,dont even need the knife lets put this,down Im trying the rib baby back rib,with the house barbecue sauce first,the rib is a really good flavor,the sauce is great too but I can really,taste the rib meat,its really well seasoned has a nice,just Rich fatty of course tastes very,flavorful lets see if I can get more of,a Vibe with the sauce this time,oh yeah its Smoky with a good smoke,flavor on the sauce really compliments,his rib me well all right lets try,these shrimp,[Music],oh thats good,what is the flavor because I can totally,have some seasoning,it tastes almost like a little like a,Cajun spice maybe but very buttery as,well,all right Im gonna try this dry rub I,wonder if I can pull this apart like,that first one oh I can,thats always a good sign lets see this,is the dry rub,rib and Chilis lets see,I feel like because of the dry rib rub,alone you can really taste the meat of,the rim,like it doesnt really need the sauce,because the seasoning is really nice,thats a nice Char like a nice crisp,crust on that its very moist,I really like this this is really good,all right let me cut you some of this,steak to try yes please,and you can tell me how you like the,most expensive steak at Chilis,I think the bite I had maybe a little,bit more well,yeah there was some right in the center,yes,it does not look a little bit more looks,not as Medium as your first yeah thats,about the same I think because if you,look in the rest of here its like I,think its its so thin this is much,thinner than a typical yeah rib eye I,think yeah now this is definitely a rib,eye live up to,expectations haze tweeted so I ordered,the southwestern steak salad at,Applebees tonight and this was the,outcome I understand that food isnt,always going to look like pictures but,dot dot not enough for me,enough what you like the I like pizzazz,youre like more pizzazz yeah I want to,know what what I mean now theres no Oh,bite back a little bit so that ones got,the hard-boiled egg but this ones got,the avocado,now right off the bat the flavor profile,of this out is much better for me,personally but I dont want that to be,the only determining factor because some,people may like this you know this is,very middle of the road its a safe,salad I dont like my salad safe I like,my salad sassy um I also prefer those,women its got a little spice Im big,into the avocado but its still just,kind of a crappy salad Im gonna give,this one a 6,yeah,Im somewhere between a 5 and a 6,because their salads could be so much,better Ill go with a 6 though because I,do like the spice Im gonna give this a,4 its just honey mustard has moved on,its just for tenders I dont want to,judge it based on the choice of dressing,because I so you could get another type,of dressing Ive already given my scores,so Im gonna just say that somebody out,there would want these ingredients in a,salad but judging these ingredients on,their own merits I cant give it more,than a 3 Im sorry,Wow yeah and that didnt really help,definitely looking forward to this,head-to-head something a legend barbecue,sauce dripping ribs knocking down an e,bring bring some confidence this is our,famous double glazed touch a Chilis,check these ribs they need no,introduction you already know wow you,want it where do you want to start,Chiles is known for their ribs so I,feel like we should we should start with,apple now back when my mom and I used to,visit the Applebees we would have many,moms son dates and wed always go with,the Riblet basket they still do that I,dont know thats not a bit real huh you,dont have to ah,i am just so spicy,guys back in the day chilis theme song,was so iconic,it was on all the commercials and it has,stuck in my brain,and it went a little something like this,jellies baby,guys today i am taste testing,chilis entrees theyre dinners theyre,lunches things like that,i have taste tested their appetizers so,its time to try,the meals now quick little disclaimer i,did not get the whole entree menu,because its huge and it would cost,so much money all this was like 120,without fees and tips but i did get nine,meals,um with like all different sides and i,did not get anything from their burger,menu because they have such a huge,burger menu,i was like let me save that and make,that its own video,trying chilis burgers right thumbs up,if you want that future video,um but today yeah its the meals its,gonna be so much fun i have so many,things like pasta,bowls sandwiches everything so,lets go through everything i got i got,the cajun chicken pasta,the ultimate smokehouse combo which is,like a bunch of different meats and,sides,its gonna be great its like a barbecue,moment okay i got the ranchero chicken,tacos,the beef bacon ranch quesadillas crispy,chicken crispers,honey chipotle crispers and waffles,buffalo chicken ranch sandwich chipotle,chicken fresh mex,bowl and a quesadilla explosion,salad sounds like a diarrhea explosion,at the same time,thats all the meals but all the meals,come with sides so lets go through,the sides that i got as well roasted,asparagus,we love making our piss smell like trash,like literal trash thank you asparagus,texas cheese fries,black beans mexican rice awesome blossom,petals,fries corn on the cob loaded mashed,potatoes and thats it,so we have a lot of things to try today,so lets unbox,everything first things first we have,the bowl this is the bowl um it is in,styrofoam,which i think is bad for the um,environment right so is plastic,so would you guys say that like paper,boxes are like the best,environmental packaging i think so right,anyways,off topic this looks great its quite,heavy,um the presentation is nice it has like,little different piles of things,chicken cheese now this is the cajun,chicken pasta yes,with i think bread well see that soon,um,this looks delicious,the quesadilla explosion salad so we,have like,four little quesadilla corners here,besides the quesadillas it looks like a,pretty,basic salad im not feeling any,explosive firework moments im just,feeling,take out salad okay the ranchero chicken,tacos with the rice and beans oh yes,the tacos come in like little papers,like to keep them i guess from like,getting stuck together,and like im getting soggy they look,great um the mexican rice looks,very boring is this actually mexican,rice,it is it looks like brown rice it has,like no color,nothing and then we have the black bean,side too,these look pretty good though okay now,this,is the buffalo ranch sandwich i think,that is a massive piece of chicken love,that,um and i got it with loaded mashed,potatoes potatoes smell very,earthy now this is the um i think it was,beef and something um quesadilla it just,looks kind of,like but it might taste incredible um we,have three,dipping sauces also so thats great now,these are,the chicken crispers the crispy chicken,crispers,so its like chicken tenders but like,thinner i guess and it comes with,corn on the cob and fries and i think,ranch and then we have the,barbecue type meal like the ultimate,smokehouse something,i got ribs brisket bacon,cheese chicken a piece of bread and some,asparagus this is a very big portion,very heavy,i am ready for all the meat say it with,me we got the meat,now these are the honey chipotle um,chicken crispers,on top of waffles it smells very um,very smoky i dont know if its good,smoky or bad smokey,but it smells like a damn forest now we,have some sides that were packaged,separately um we have the awesome,blossom petals,so its just like outback steakhouse,blaming our yarn,but just off of the onion um and then,these are supposed to be,the texas cheese fries but i dont see,any toppings,so i think that they forgot the cheese,and the texas,dont worry im gonna get my little,refund for this side,but otherwise everything looks perfect,and delicious,and this is going to be such a fun,i am going to get my thumbnail get my,close-up shots set up the food and then,we shall taste test,everything and of course im going to be,totally honest and,rate everything from one to ten well,see whats good and whats not at least,in my opinion,first up lets try the ranchero chicken,tacos,[Music],the ranchero chicken tacos were 11.59,they have avocado chicken a lot of,cheese,um some sort of sour crema pico de gallo,a lot of cilantro lets take off some of,that because im just not a huge fan,um but yeah these look great theres a,dog barking somewhere,its not my dogs,can you hear it i hear it anyways lets,try it,um,theres ranch on this,oh my goodness,and its good ranch,[Music],this is delicious oh my god,so the ranch is like a restaurant ranch,creamy,tangy flawless the chicken is very real,it does not taste processed it tastes,like it was grilled and then sliced,perfection theres so much shredded,cheese on here,and it gives it such a salty delicious,flavor,the pico de gallo is great the avocado,is great honestly its a perfect taco,like im very very happy with that,one those tacos are a 10 out of 10.,beautiful so now lets try the rice and,beans,so like i said the rice does not look,like mexican rice it looks just like,plain brown rice,lets smell it um,[Music],thats brown rice that was not mexican,rice what in the lords name,why would they give me brown rice thats,so nasty,listen ill eat brown rice when im,trying to be healthy but i dont enjoy,it,and i definitely dont want it when im,expecting delicious mexican rice,you know like the tomatoiness that is a,0 out of 10 because i was expecting,something amazing and it was,trash horrible so lets try the black,beans,now i am half cuban so i know my black,beans hello,simple good enough,and they dont have like a strong flavor,but they do have a liminess to them,and they do have enough salt and all the,times american,restaurants love to make beans and just,make beans without any salt or anything,its just beans you know,these at least have salt and lime so im,here for them so,rice is zero beans are six which is a,good rating for,american made beans american restaurant,beans you know,overall the whole meal is a nice eight,next up lets try,um crispy chicken crispers buttery flaky,crisper,[Music],this whole meal was 11.29 thats not bad,at,all its a sit-down restaurant um we,have corn on the cob,fries and a bunch of these chicken,crispers um there are,i think about five of them in here and,we have ranch,oh it smells good lets first try the,fries,um,theyre pretty good fries im not crazy,about them but theyre theyre not bad,theyre crispy enough they have just,enough salt but also,they have no outstanding flavor theyre,typical basic fries so,im gonna give those a 5 out of 10.,lets try the corn on the cob now i got,my permanent,retainer taken off recently it used to,be difficult for me to eat things like,this but um now i have a,nighttime one that i use so fancy lets,try it,[Applause],im gonna see these tomorrow morning in,the toilet,[Applause],corn always tastes better on the cob,its always juicier it always tastes,fresher,its just so much better now so it,tastes like good fresh corn,but it has nothing on it i feel i dont,i dont taste butter i dont taste Why Is Chilis Food So Bad?

[Music],the house was silent,the first thing i decided to do was dash,into my office,and say to myself nobody wants to see,all of that man but a dame,luckily for you ive already had one of,my one time for the one time,merch shirts laying on my office chair,you can get a shirt at www dot dame,drops merch,after covering up the fat i had one,burning question in my mind,why doesnt anyone want to eat at,chilis anymore,i decided to open up the laptop slide on,over to yelp,and get right to the reviews this two,and a half star rating,was not sexy at all this is what the,people had to say,it was a friday night got out of work,wanted something to eat,that was quick sat down and ordered our,drinks and food,i ordered the new chick chick sandwich,and fries,came with blue cheese bacon lettuce,tomatoes and avocado,my avocado was brown and old looking i,complained and she brought me a new one,no big deal,about 15 minutes after were all done,eating,we all had bad stomach pains and gas,along with diarrhea,we all ate and drank the same thing i,will never be going back here,second time dining at this location,first time was a great experience,though this time was quite the opposite,we dined in the bar,area and our server was barbara very,unpleasant experience,all around and we are disappointed at,the service provided,our first complaint is that our server,took 20 minutes,to give a drink to my friend and it,wasnt the right drink,two the chicken tenders tasted more,rubbery in a smaller portion,than the previous time we went 3. we,never received napkins during our,experience,4. we only saw her once every 15 minutes,despite needing the sauces refills on,water napkins containers,receiving the right drink and the bill,okay i understand its a chain featuring,so-so food,and most people going there are,perfectly fine eating,carb-laden meals full of rice,beans and corn but i wish theyd offer,something a little more health conscious,the salads are have been all in my,feelings,so chilis for your honey chipotle,tenders,youre already starting off on the good,foot family,now i went over to the brisket side let,me tell you something about brisket for,those that do not know,brisket needs to be smoked for a long,time,for that bad boy to get a tender fender,bender toy,the the chilis brisket looked like it,was doing nothing but smoking cigarettes,there was no 13-hour smoke on this,brisket,this might have been uh some type of,brisket where,you know it went on the fast cook,because it is a faster service,though not considered fast food do not,expect for your brisket to get the full,amount of love that it actually deserves,to preserve all of that great flavor to,it because all theyre gonna do,is smoke it up real quick probably add a,little sauce to it,boom bap thats all youre gonna get,its inside of the quesadilla,quesadilla had a light crisp to it we,had green peppers going on for extra,flavor,extra breath not so much compliment in,the brisket,because the brisket wasnt even doing,good enough on its own,to need something else to complement it,was just okay,im talking about two and a half maybe a,three on a good day type okay,nothing that great the garlic bread come,on baby,yall didnt even try with the garlic,bread now when you go to the frozen food,section,of your local grocery spot youre going,to see texas toast,garlic bread up off in there it looks as,if thats what chilis might have done,they might have went up the street to,stop and shop went up the street to a,piglet wiggly,you know what im saying a while,whatever the case may have been,grabbed up some of that frozen garlic,bread toss it up off in the oven,boom bap hold that now i still had a,nice crisp to it because,i mean even frozen garlic bread is not,that bad but again nothing to write home,about,the fries these fries are utter and,sheer,why meat fries why me baby,i took a bite out of their fries these,fries did not bite back the only thing,these fries did were they they allowed,extra grease to slide on down,i didnt taste no potato whatsoever i,did get,fried grease though fried crunchy grease,sticks,i did not sign up for these i special,cotija,type cheese correct me in the comment,section im pretty sure im messing it,up,but i had it in my travels ive actually,had real mexican street corn,for the first time and it was everything,my mans told me it was like a,a special type of cheese uh uh what it,would it with a coke,cotija kodi shot cotija cheese,some some some mayos up in there some,sour corn,sour caramels up in there a chili powder,and and what lime maybe,i dont know look fam at the end of the,day thats what they try to capture,here at chilis and im sorry you,captured it,but the net had a hole in it so you,captured nothing,you was trying to get all that up into,the street corn game it escaped,and what you left me with was colorful,corn,with no flavor i seen everything you,wanted to put on there,to make it really pop make it really,stand out on that bite it was just,it was a goose type bite it was gushy,i need my corn to be crisp i need it for,myself i need for my tongue to be able,to,decipher the flavor separate them taste,all the flavors take it all into the,palate,and tantalize my taste buds i didnt get,none of that chili,chili no no no and at the very end,i had told her i wanted a barbecue,a bbq bacon chicken barbecue bacon,chicken,thats i try to save the best for last,thats what you do right,the chicken was dry it was einstein was,dry,it was a even though it was dry it still,had a decent little bite to it,decent little decent little i was more,upset,that the cheese that was supposed to be,melted on my chicken,with the bacon within the cheese,came off like a bad wig piece,you know what im saying like you know,when dudes got to remove the hair,they didnt get the hair plugs popping,off just right so they put the wig piece,on,wig piece be all over to the side TRYING EVERY CHILIS APPETIZER! Which ones are the BEST?!?

oh today is a big one im going to be,taste testing every single,appetizer on the chilis menu to let you,guys know,which ones are the best i have been on a,two-hour journey that cost me,about 180 but its gonna be worth it,once i can sink my teeth,into all of these delicious chilis,appetizers there are so many to choose,from,and weirdly theyre all the same color,thats how you know its gonna be a pickles,and i think hooters,is that weird also by the way my sister,works at hooters fun fact,thats a pretty solid fried pickle i,think its a classic flavor,nothing crazy nothing over the top but,almost a necessary,appetizer for a southern gal like me at,a chain restaurant,looking for a elevated food experience,since were on the fried train literally,me this entire video,im gonna move on to the crispy cheddar,bites,its like a sweet release those are,delicious,this is one of their sliders i think,they called it the big one or the big,ones or the big fried or,ill put it on the screen its a slider,its nothing groundbreaking,man if that doesnt taste exactly like,the way chilis logo looks,when you look at that logo the flavor in,your mouth is exactly the flavor of that,burger restaurant burgers are so,iconic i can never make my burgers taste,like restaurant burgers,what is up with that they put some sort,of weird msg mixture in there that we,dont know about because that,is unduplicatable this was a new,addition that was quite shocking to me,theyre blooming onion strips,so its almost like outback but with,less girth,no shade to outback because i will be,doing an outback video soon i prefer,this over the blooming onion because you,know sometimes when they be frying up,that blooming onion they dont put,enough breading dripping sauce on it,before they fry it and i love a bloom,and onion dont get me wrong but i,really like it to crunch when you have,it in strips like this you can really,get the breading all,around it so theyre extra crispy where,do i go next,oh i know exactly where were going,everybody buckle up,this is chilis perfection this is the,one thing i would order every single,time i go to chilis as a matter of fact,this might be one of my favorite chain,restaurant restroom,no not jane restroom favorites i dont,think i have any chain restroom,favorites,this is one of my chain restaurant,favorite foods of all time,this tastes like straight as on a,report card you know when you finally,make sure it is and your parents like,were about to celebrate were gonna,take you to,chiles and youre like yeah living life,to the fullest,all right lets talk about guacamole,if its not an authentic mexican,restaurant guacamole to me,this is too smushed true guacamole fans,will know guacamole can be pureed too,much,and this is almost like a spread i like,my guac,thick and chunky with lots of fun parts,to chew,chilis offers nachos with chicken beef,and just plain vegetarian i got the beef,version because i have a lot of chicken,back here its kind of,actually grossing me out when i think,about chickens back there but i needed,to spice it up with some beef so here,are the beef nachos i love a jalapeno,jalapenos,are one of the most special gifts from,god that were ever given to us,that and granny panties big fan why,dont i like that,i think its the beef i thought it was,like a different kind of beef it was a,little surprising in a weird way i dont,know i actually might like it without,the beef lets talk about dips,queso is a new found love of mine what,is this,this entire thing was full of green,stuff like lettuce and stuff,and about this much of its queso the,trickery aint no party like a queso,party because the queso party dont stop,making you want to go to the bathroom i,will say nothing beats chilis tortilla,chips theyre so thin and flaky,i know why theyre stingy with it now,youre like dont come too much of that,cause oh that,this is so nice they for sure love this,because they did not want to give me,too much of it i love loaded fries these,have jalapeno,and onions and theres just something,thats comforting about this,it almost like tastes like a breakup you,know like you broke one up with someone,youre like i gotta get to my nearest,chilis to order,some freaking bloated french fries stats,weve all been there right,what a classic its lovely its very,difficult to do a loaded cheese fry well,to go they nailed it its time for,the wing round chilis offers multiple,kinds of wings,weve got boneless wings weve got,bone-in wings and then we have just,chicken crispers theyre just like,chicken strips so winter winter chicken,dinner,i dont know which one is which but we,are gonna just explore you know what,maybe we should just do,lets start with the bang were gonna do,the loaded boneless wings,so its basically what we just,experienced with the french fries but,with chicken instead,oh theres queso also on here oh my gosh,okay okay its good but can i just say,that dish,is too much its too much the 12 year,old me,was thrilled by what i just experienced,its just,one thing too many fried chicken with,queso dip all over it and bacon on its,just,she needs to sit down for a moment,current me in the past,doesnt know what boneless wing this is,im gonna put the name of them on the,screen because future me will,be enlightened and no pray for me,heres the first boneless option okay,not too bad a little sweet a little,spicy not bad is bw3s quaking though,really thats the question,boneless wig number do i think thats,two in french,dont quote me because i didnt take,french almost like an asian sweet,barbecue,i like that one it was sweet but not too,sweet,had a nice smoky barbecue twist boneless,wing number three,that ones forgettable its got honey,that you can sort of taste but it almost,wants to be a flavor and it doesnt know,which one it wants to be id give that,like a seven and a half out of ten,going in with the plain one so if she,stays inside the lines,nothing good happens inside of the lines,folks so its a girl who never,had her art on the refrigerator growing,up im just kidding,im not a mean on the bone kind of gal,it kind of grosses me out a little bit,because im like i have all the parts,here who knows what part i might be,chewing on next you know,not always my favorite but im going to,eat it because i love you guys,here we go thats a classic barbecue,okay again,its really hard to follow a bw3s,boneless wing taste test because all of,those flavors are so,powerful and epic this is more of a,classic standard,appreciatory flavor but just kind of,normal,going into what i jalapenos,serranos,poblanos,ghost,habaneros all of these are chilies,and thats what im trying today chilis,so yes its true today i am taste,testing,chilis full appetizer menu every single,appetizer they have plus desserts as,well i did taste test their appetizers,four years ago but i was not a great,taste tester back then i didnt try all,the appetizers and i just,i feel like ive grown a lot its gifts okay,lets cook we have some chicken sausage,some kale a carrot see perfect amount a,lemon cream sauce chicken stock,concentrate kellini beans and corn,starch so first things first i have to,wash and dry produce and then i have to,chop up the carrots the lemon and then,drain and rinse the beans,okay so now its time to cook the soup,im gonna add some olive oil into a pot,and then im just gonna add my sweet,italian chicken sausage,there we go,[Music],now im going to add my carrots,and some salt,im going to let this cook for a couple,minutes until the carrots get a little,bit soft in the meantime im gonna mix,my corn starch with one tablespoon of,water,and im just going to mix this until,theres no more lumps,i think this is called a cornstarch,slurry,am i correct chefs out there so now im,going to stir in some water,and im going to add the stock,concentrates,get that all mixed in im gonna add half,of the beans,the other half will go in later and the,cornstarch slurry,im just gonna let this simmer for three,to five minutes until the sauce is a,little thick from the cornstarch,okay so now its time to add the rest of,the beans,the cream sauce,ooh,get that all mixed in oh my god it looks,amazing and a big squeeze of lemon juice,im just gonna let this cook for a few,minutes and then it will be done guys,okay i think its done it smells amazing,oh my goodness so creamy oh yes and i,did not add the kale that they gave me,just because i just didnt feel like,kale today but i really felt like soups,i was like let me just make it without,the kale ill save the kale for like whats going on people she made me a,Dame drives back with season four of the,best and worst review chain restaurants,in my state and Im out here in,Connecticut for those that do not know I,had to slide up over here to Chilis,because the other week we already,covered TGI Fridays this is the worst,review Chilis at 11 Spring Street in,Southington Connecticut now I just want,to find out how bad everything is I mean,we already read the reviews its a,service that bad is the food that bad or,is it just nasty inside,I mean the only cars that I see here are,the employee cars,I got my boy V Roski with me you know,what Im saying,Chef extraordinaire you know a little,something about food its a little bit a,little bit,a lot he knows nothing so were gonna go,in were gonna find out together this,guy everything see you in two and two,all right,I went to this Chilis for the first,time Friday while the waitress was very,nice I couldnt even eat the food the,corn on the cob looked like it had been,sitting overnight in water no way was,that fresh the chicken tenders were dry,as a bone and most definitely just,sitting there under a light the other,appetizers on this particular dish were,awful this is by far the worst,restaurant to go to oh and I went to the,ladies room disgusting dingy Dungey,filthy as I walk by the kitchen much the,same disgusting as well the floor eek,never ever again that was a one star,recent too,the next ones a one star too so bad oh,my God so bad bacon avocado grilled,chicken sandwich was clearly microwaved,in a stinky dirty microwave it retained,the smell of sad chicken of the past and,something I can only describe as bad,green meat barf me out yeah I said it,because that rubbery stinky and,horrendous Cajun Chicken Pasta,is that a negative point two of five,stars only because it had identifiable,peen in it holy Jesus was this bad the,smell of the greasy Alfredo plate is,reminiscent of expired chicken and,curdled milk damn we will no doubt,regret the four bites of confusion to,confirm the unhealthy decision in the,next five to seven hours,best thing about this show of a kitchen,is the weight staff kudos to every one,of you shopping out of the back and,smiling while the manager approved,certain death thats forthcoming left a,37 tip but Phil we should hire the whole,weight team just to remove them from the,filth that isnt their fault and she,went hard on a Boulevard,she said hold that Brethren um last one,is a two piece and we about to go do,what we came to do,Im an experienced food professional,with two years experience they posted,this location as for wanting for,multiple back of house positions and,roles I drove the nearly 45 minutes to,the interview I was untreated as not,having scheduled an interview oh hello,what no the hiring manager is not here,why would he be here let me take your,resume okay buzz off but a walk-in super,lip service interview was granted about,a three minute overall interview if you,would call it that for a one hour and 30,minute commute they may produce great,food and have a strong front of house,staff but their management,and ilk suck say no more,we we can clearly read that this is the,worst reviewed and worse rated Chilis,restaurant in my state I just want to,slide to the spot make a hot see what,they got you already know what time it,is Right Chew the and beef is fine,um as far as,my main joint,I think Im gonna go ahead,oh that barbecue brisket burger sounds,mean barbecue brisket burger got it,Leo get the chips,yeah youll give them chips yeah when I,when I said chips and queso would be I,was thinking something entirely,different,Im not too short Fam Im not too sure,exactly what that is uh chips,the light,lightly greased up,uh Friday laid set aside not too sure,about that original beef not too sure,its um although its supposed to be,creamy beef cream of beef instead of,cream of wheat cream of beef yes all,right so it could be cream of beef the,problem is room temp its not even hot,it is a representation of anything else,piping hot like youre only going to,burn your mouth that thing came out,lukewarm like theyre just its in cast,iron how is it in cast iron its not hot,its not,the quality of restaurant food has,definitely gone down it doesnt look,like something out of Gerber I learned,baby food,awesome,all right so we got here we got fries,Mexican rice cheesy Mexican rice cheesy,Mexican rice what it is,crazy fingers,you know never go wrong with no season,of fries,is done crispy too okay thats a winning,win-win baby,have to be your teeth man things,going crazy,cried my fries crispy,hot,lukewarm butterfly,good baby Im good in the hood never,misunderstood oh,wow soft bun thats a fresh bun right,there that aint that still bundle been,sitting in the back I like that fresh,going action,its been toasted up,this is that brisket that barbecue,brisket right here with the cheddar on,there,okay,oh look at that brisket Game itself well done even still,tender with the nice acidity levels,coming through with the pickle and the,coleslaw at the bottom providing,additional crunch plenty of brisket to,go through your soul extra thick loving,understanding respectable of that coming,from Chilis with a nice little bite at,the end baby,thank you,I saw you I know the vibes your boy,drops so take care sliding up out of,chilies right now man and uh,I could say one thing,that we have some highs we definitely,had some lows you dont say rocking out,my main man VP over here yeah the food,was definitely subpar the only good,thing I had on my plate with those,chicken tenders I was surprised they,were choose because they were crispy,they were hand battered they were good,everything else in my plate was garbage,my burger my fries were slapping I have,a my sweet corn was popping so I really,have no complaints,uh aside from advertising but lets take,this to Yelp you know what happens next,your boy drops I holla
