all-season tire really can do the,job of two tyres or whether it,compromises in any area were going to,start the testing here at goodyears,amazing arctic test facility in lapland,where were going to be doing snow,testing then well move to the south of,france where well do dry wet noise,comfort rolling resistance testing which,should allow us to work out which tyre,works best where and whether all,seasoned tyres really are one tyre to do,everything or a summer and winter tire,has advantages in certain areas as,always im going to try and keep this,video a watchable lens so if you want,any the goodyear ultra grip performance,plus,right first test of the day is snow,handling and before you say it i know,snow handling isnt strictly the most,relevant test for the uk climate because,when it does snow were hardly going out,there and setting lap times but snow,handling is a very valid test for two,reasons firstly not all my viewers are,from the uk theres some european and,north american audience which means snow,handling is actually quite an important,test for them because they do go out and,drive at reasonable speeds in the snow,and secondly probably more importantly,for the uk market snow handling gives,you an idea of how the tire works during,sort of transient or emergency,situations so if something steps out or,someone pulls out on you and you have to,break and turn it shows you how much,grip or how much ability the tyres,going to give the car the best on test,in the snow handling was surprisingly,the cheapest tire its the gt now this,tire felt the most winter-like and it,was quite a joy to drive it gave the car,good balance a little bit of oversteer,but generally find that as the front,axle grip gets better the car ends up,with a bit more oversteer just because,the rear is carrying more speed and it,comes around a little bit more but fair,play to gt lets see how that translates,into its wet and dry performance,because often theyre opposing qualities,but,very good snow performance the next,group of tyres are about a percent,behind the gt with the goodyear conti,and handcut now of the three it was less,than a percent splitting all three on,that time and subjectively theyre all,very similar if anything id say the,conti was the best overall in that it,just felt a little bit more positive and,direct on the front axle but it didnt,really translate into lap times so all,three of those tires excellent in the,snow for an all-season tire next up was,the summer optimized michelin cross,climate now this is a tire that isnt,designed to have the best snow and ice,performance its designed for summer,conditions and in other testing its,shown to be very good in the dry and wet,so to come fifth overall good result for,it it felt really good balanced like the,goodyear a little bit a little bit less,grip everywhere and it seemed to get,upset a little bit more by the small,patches of ice weve found on this snow,handling circuit but otherwise excellent,after the michelin was the nexon again,nothing particularly interesting to,report might felt a little bit more,floaty on the front axle than the rest,of the tyres and just had a little bit,less grip everywhere overall which is,why it was about a percent behind the,michelin again then we come on to the,redstone which is interestingly the only,all-season tyre on test that has the,asymmetric tread pattern and directional,tread patterns are common in all,seasonal winter tires because they work,really well in snow so the red stein did,a good job it wasnt the quickest tyrant,test but it wasnt a disaster and,hopefully that asymmetric tread pattern,will pay back some of the negativity,here in the dry and wet testing finally,we finish up with the bridgestone and,cooper now the bridgestone again,just it was okay balanced it just felt a,little bit less grippy everywhere and,it just struggled again like the,michelin with the icy bit so it was a,significant chunk behind the very best,all season tires and the cooper well you,can kind of see from the tread pattern,where it suffers it might have a blocky,tread pattern but its not a very,heavily siped tire and i think thats,made it struggle a lot more than the,others in the snow and ice but again,like the other tyres perhaps it will,bring it back in the dry and wet the,winter and summer reference tyres now,the winter tire as you would imagine,absolute joy to drive on the front end,was even more precise than the gt the,back was stable and it just allowed you,to position the car and it gave you a,lot more ability to brake and turn the,lap time wasnt night and day ahead of,the best all-season tires but the,confidence it gave you and the stability,it gave you you were driving the car,less if that makes sense so it was just,a better optional round for these,conditions but these are quite extreme,wintry conditions and the summer tyre,well this new goodyear efficient grip,performance too is a really really,strong summer tyre on snow compared to,any other summer tires ive tested in,this kind of category however it still,felt damn right dangerous compared to,the pestle season tires and even the,worst all season tires and i i think,thats the lesson to take away the,cooper might have been 10 15 behind the,best all season tire but even the worst,all season tires still 40 ahead of the,summer tire and the summer tyre might,get you going but its the braking and,turning where you really really find it,difficult especially you find yourself,just aiming at a snowbank braking,thinking youve done it way in advance,and then just not stopping and sliding,and sliding and sliding and always,having an accident so,if you do want to stay safe in snow,summertise just isnt the option and,thats represented in the name i guess,gt also aced the snow braking test with,continental and goodyear close behind,the winter tire again proved best,overall with the summer tyre taking an,alarming amount of distance to stop the,car the next stop is the south of france,for wet and dry testing,as these are all season tyres theyre,very likely to be used in a climate,which sees quite a bit of rain much like,where i live in the uk so their wet,performance is one of the most important,criteria now the slowest tyra on wet,handling was the cooper now this tire,was only about three seconds off the,leader but it struggled with grip well,the balance of the car seemed to move,around front to rear and it was quite a,tricky tire to drive so in such a close,group of tires its such a capable group,of tyres someone had to be last and it,was the cooper,the next up was the snow specialist the,gt,now while this tire was still,relatively slow compared to the pack,about a second faster than the cooper it,was a completely different tire to drive,than the cooper where the cooper was a,little bit unpredictable

every time i lay my head at night i pray,to god watch over me cause i aint even,right reminiscing how i told you that,ive been hurt before,guys im gonna show you guys the,how much miles i did on the,on my tires that i had for six months,which is the good year this is an update,review,to show you guys um before i actually,get into the real video,that i spoke about,let me show you guys right here um,info,maintenance,uh,tire,hopefully you guys can see it clearly,turn off the ac,all right so the distance that i did is,49,711 miles,now i only had these goodyear tires on,the car,for six months,roughly im gonna say seven months not,even a year,and already did,about you know forty nine thousand seven,hundred and eleven,miles the remaining as you can see right,there,nineteen thousand,one hundred and,fifty three miles,now my tires is dry rot im gonna go,outside and show you guys,the tire thats why its very important,to,rotate your tires like every 5 000 miles,or every oil change,you should rotate them or you know you,know i didnt do that i basically,i had better tires on my on my um car,before i remember when i had my,bridgestone i didnt even do,i didnt even rotate them i basically um,just drive,to get that you know rotate [ __ ],but um,its wet right now so you cant really,see cant really tell but this tie right,here have a,have a slow leak,have a slow leak well you cant really,tell its its wet you know,um,as you can see,tire is done i mean,look at the bottom i dont know what,for six months though,and usually when i install uh,new tires i always get in alignment,i always get alignment and,i only did like 49 000 miles not even a,full 50.,so these eat up really fast,i know you guys not gonna be able to see,the ones in the back,you cant really turn them out but these,these right here are done,these are done you can see you can see,its done,smooth,theres no way,that this tire is gonna last me,another,gonna give me another,50,is it 50 no,40 50 60 70 80. another 4 000,is it 4 000 miles no,yeah 50,another,10,man my math is off what is wrong with me,today,theres no way its going to give me,up to 80 000 miles already hit what,40 49,yeah theres no way theyre going to,give me im going to get an extra,30 000,30 000 miles,these tires so they need to be changed,and thats the update these are the,goodyear um assurance,these tires are garbage,i dont recommend nobody getting them if,they do a lot of,driving highway driving or,you feel me uber lift,type,because thats crazy,excuse me yeah thats thats ridiculous,ties are no good the ones in the back is,smooth,the one in the front have more tread but,its dry rotted,tie is no good so,im gonna get me some uh,bridgestone some bridge bridgestone,quiet track,uh,tires,but yeah guys,uh now im just let you guys get into,the real video i was just talking and,driving,so every time when you guys make sure,you get when you get a new,get four new tires make sure you get a,good brand,make sure you get alignment and make,sure every 5 000 miles you do your best,to rotate your tires,especially if your car is a front-wheel,drive vehicle,even if its a rear-wheel drive vehicle,make sure you rotate them now if your,car is the all-wheel drive vehicle,theres no point of doing no rotation,because all,power come from the front and the back,when its all wheel drive vehicle so you,dont need no rotation,but if its a rear wheel drive car or,front-wheel drive car,i always take the one from the back put,them in the front if its the front,wheel take the one from the front every,5 000 miles from the one from the front,put them in the back just switch it,around keep switching it like that every,oil change,or everything or every five to ten,thousand miles,you know you could do it like that but,yeah guys,now thats on my car right now,is bad,like i was doing a u-turn right and,my car was like sliding while i was,turning,and i wasnt going fast because theres,no way you could go fast doing a u-turn,thats impossible,i took my time and you know because its,wet too man my car was like sliding you,i felt that,and um so,the my tires is basically dry rotted,they they say they last 80 000 miles,the one thats in my front the one,thats on the the drivers side on the,front,is uh,i think they have a slow leak i dont,even know where this leak is coming from,i dont even think that im gonna im,not gonna even waste my time trying to,plug it because whats the point the,tire is already no good like it its,just no good its dry rotted,but i dont even think they,the tire is not,is,for a tire to give you six months,excuse me,for a tire to give you,six months thats no good even though,i cant even remember with the the tread,wear of the tire i gotta like look at,that as well i cant remember,but for it to give you 80k,80 000 miles yes ive been doing a lot,of driving,but,also you know what im gonna blame,myself,because every five thousand miles im,supposed to get my tires rotated,so that could be the cause as well,that could be the cause,i didnt do that i only rotate my tire,like one time,one time during the six months,and,yeah tires is no good you know,the one in the back is bad my car is a,front wheel drive vehicle,so i took the one thats from the back,and put them in the front,and the one that was in the front i put,them in the back so,im going to show you guys,how they look when i get home and also,im going to show you how much miles,because i put it in i put it in my car,as well i put it in the system maybe if,i get to a light,im going to show you guys um,how much miles so far,i ran these uh tires up to,you know how much miles so far right now,theyre clapping you could hear,noise you can hear a bunch of road noise,but i know its my tires you know,theyre no good,so,im gonna purchase some tires and,im gonna get me some,some bridgestone,i think bridgestone will be the best,because,they last the last time when i had,last time when i had uh,i should take the other way,the last time that i had uh bridgestone,when i had them on my 2007,toyota they last a long time and at that,time i was driving for lyft and uber and,i was driving all over the place and,they wasnt eating up like as fast as,how,this goodyear assurance tire,these right here is the most expensive,tires they have at walmart in,in stores only only if they still have,an auto department,because not all walmarts have the auto,department,that you could do your oil change and do,change your tires there,not all of them have that just to let,you guys know,but um you could purchase tires online,and get them from walmart from the,walmart website and get them shipped to,you and you could do whatever you want,to do you want to if you want to install,them at the store you could which i,dont really recommend,we had to take them to a shop,to get them installed and let somebody,do the alignment,you know a professional because i dont,trust nobody at walmart,work on my car to touch my car not michelin this is what i didnt know,they dont have them in store if youre,gonna purchase any tire online i mean at,walmart in the store the highest that,theyll go to is the goodyear,the goodyear assurance because they got,another one thats below this one which,is still good year but i think you get,less uh,get get less treadwear on it,but all together,it came to 4 30 185 for four tires which,is not bad you know my tire size is uh,215 54 52 15 55 r17 i have a 2008 toyota,avalon,uh,17,inch wheels so,its thats my tire size um im going to,get these tires installed,and im also going to install you could get your,tires balance and rotate and,install but they dont have no alignment,rack and when your alignment is is off,your tires will eat up they will wear,out faster than when you have a straight,alignment when your alignment is off you,have uneven wear on your tire so you,drive,say about maybe about,what,10 000 miles you wont start seeing a,different,part of your tire wearing out just like,what i have on my car right now i have,uh,full michelin tire the primacy,the primacy tires full privacy tires on,my car right now,and you could see,i should show you guys you can see the,um,where the tires is worn out to it and,show you guys,im gonna show you guys what im talking,about,i have like uh uneven,uneven where,uh,as you can see,i have more tread in the middle area but,when it comes to the outer end its,smooth,so i need alignment the alignment is off,and also what i feel when i drive,my uh,is pulling,its pulling to,the right,the car is pulling more to the right,when i drive so,im gonna need to get alignment you,probably cant see it from here through,to the uh,you just cant see but right here,down here,you can see the same hopefully you guys,can see the same it looks smooth,on the other,on this other side i should have turned,my wheel so you guys can see see its,really smooth,yes its really smooth no tread,but i have more tread in the inner part,more on the inner part of the tire and,thats for the one for the back,as well is the same,its a smooth,right here but i have more tread on the,inner side,of,the tire,so im going to need to get alignment,when i get them installed,when i get them installed im going to,get alignment,get alignment and uh,that should be good im sorry guys its,really hot,out here,so this is the good year,as you can see,the goodyear,215 55 or 17 thats my tire size,94v thats just the speed rating,uh and the tread wear,when you guys go and purchase a tire,make sure you look at the treadwear,and,thats this is 80 000 miles 800 uh,treadway which is good so this tire,should last me,a long period,of time,and um,yeah guys once you,change your tires especially if you get,in all four make sure you get alignment,so your alignment is straight,so your tires will war evenly,instead of wearing out,unevenly,you feel me so,im going to go back into inside the,vehicle,these are brand new tires i know,goodyear is good,and this is the assurance,where is that well show it where should,we right here,boom,insurance,outlast which is the best one they sell,inside the store,if i want to get a different brand like,pirelli bridgestone or michelin,i would have to order them online and,come and pick them up,come and pick them up inside,of this store,oh man its hot out here,so hopefully you guys i enjoy this hey whats the tread wear,on this certain tire,once its eight hundred dollars is good,even if its 550 000 miles,its not bad but i always want to get,something that will,uh,get my moneys worth i dont want to,just purchase the tire,and,in a year they wore out,thats bad,because when i went in there and asked,the lady hey,can you give me the different tires that,you have that um,that could fit this size 2 15 55 or r17,first she gave me um she recommended me,what she didnt recommend she told me,the cheapest one is douglas and douglas,is bad they wore out,really fast those are the ties that i,used to use long time ago when i wasnt,really doing that much driving it wasnt,bad it was cheap and it wasnt bad,but from since i started driving for,for uber lift,uh doordash,im always on the road always on the go,they wore out really fast so i really,dont recommend them i do have a video,that i made on here,that i posted a long time ago i did get,a lot of views on it because a lot of,people use them just because its cheap,but theyre no good they dont last long,so,i rather get something they have a name,so,she acts she told me that they have,goodyear,i was like what you got higher than that,she
