all right so uh we just waited,45 minutes,after driving for three hours to get uh,eminems mom spaghetti,and uh,yeah lets see,spaghetti,i didnt come prepared at all,which is really like just my mo at this,point,spontaneity,you say is,between spontaneity,whatever,[Laughter],you understood what i mean,spaghetti are they really,they just taste like balls of ground,dude,[Music],um,dont believe the hype,its,uh spaghetti is just like slightly,overcooked,it tastes like one of those frozen,spaghetti dinner meals yeah it tastes,like a spaghetti frozen meal it needs,salt it needs so,it needs so much salt the meatballs are,bland as [ __ ] spaghetti,this is just white bread,which is okay because like,how do you have garlicky white bread,but um,we drove here for the,only for meme meme and like the parmesan,its just like,crafting salad sprinkled cheese,but weve also been in the car for three,hours and were hungry as hell so were,smashing this,[Music],joe what do you have to say for yourself,i also got a spaghetti sandwich,i forgot,you know what they did with that,sandwich right,they took that bread that you got on top,of your,[Laughter],you use the spaghetti napkin,so like,its,is it uh what it claims to be,it certainly is a spaghetti sandwich,mean at least theres like melted,mozzarella on here,oh damn,huh,oh damn,you want a bite,all right um,i dont know,ill check back in,oh and uh,this cup,it was dirty when they gave it to me,um,i i dont want to be a hater but,i really i cant,find like any,any real redeeming qualities,uh about this,so,i go ahead and thumbs down this video i,dont know,the stands and i mean the stands uh are,gonna come after me i dont know i dont,know,um,yeah joe pointed out uh they just didnt,salt their pasta water,oh and we were uh,we were literally right in front of,little caesars world headquarters,uh the whole time,and,i i think id rather have a hot and,ready from little caesars,no,no little caesar himself is on the top,floor,they probably use the same spaghetti,[Laughter],by the way were just um,eating in the detroit tigers uh comerica,park,parking lot,um,detroit seems pretty cool,um,but uh,yeah,you can you,if you were planning on driving,uh three or more or even less hours,uh to try mom spaghetti i mean do it for,the meme to say you did it but like if,youre expecting good food,its,its bad,like its just unseasoned,thats really what it is,its just unseasoned,i mean i guess it tastes better because,im eating in a parking lot,[Laughter],its only appropriate,yeah,dont get it just get a parking lot,uh also im sorry for how,terribly this video was filmed um,because i didnt bring a tripod or mic,uh or anything so,yeah,hi i have adhd,all right so uh its been quite a few,hours and i am back home in dayton now,um,still got like,quite a bit of the spaghetti left um one,of the upside like one of the only,upsides to this was like they gave you a,lot of food,um,so,i figured,lets make it a little bit better,um,in keeping with the theme of this video,im just doing this on my phone,um also ive been,i spent,six and a half hours roughly in a car,today and i dont really have the energy,to try to pull all the stuff out of my,kitchen plus,um as you guys know i couldnt do a,video last week because my kitchen was,on,you can see right there where,everythings been repaired,um,from the pipe bursting above the sink,really had time uh to clean everything,up yet so i cant set up in here but,yeah so were just doing this on the,phone but i have,um a skillet going on,and im not even gonna throw some oil in,here just because like this pasta is,pretty oily,um,and,yeah it feels pretty preheated so im,just gonna dump it in there,[Music],and,[Music],[Music],im just gonna get that going heat it up,a little bit,and then were gonna just do,what i really think,the one thing,that this needs,um i mean theres a theres a lot this,thing needs but more than anything else,salt,this spaghetti is completely unseasoned,so im just gonna,get a good pinch of salt in there,im just gonna get that,mixing up,make a little bit of a mess on the stove,whatever i gotta clean this whole,kitchen tomorrow anyway so im not,worried about it,its nice and hot,and you know i thought about like trying,to spruce this up with some other stuff,but i really just want to see,how much better this could be with just,salt,because it is so,so so,planned,um,its like,you know,me and joe we were joking around on the,way back that like,the reason we took the trip was the,worst part of the trip,um,and that it was the friends we made,along the way because you know we were,just you know joes my one of my,co-workers and we both did a lot of work,um so it was just us you know having fun,in the car for a while and standing in,line,um,so yeah that was the real fun part and,im you know i always like going to new,cities and stuff,but this was just abysmal,this was more disappointing than,eminems last few albums so,yeah its pretty hot,kill that heap,and,[Music],pans pretty hot im gonna move it off,the burner,and lets grab a fork,oh yeah thats the one i grabbed earlier,cool,so just,sauteing it a little bit,and you can see how oily this is by how,little it has stuck to the pan,um you know pasta is pretty starchy,so you would think just throwing it,straight in there with no lube its fine,this is super oily pasta so its hot,sauteed,and its still not grape,like at all,but its better,you can actually taste it now,honestly with the salt kind of you know,heightening all the flavors,because thats really what salt does,its an amplifier,you can really taste how unseasoned this,is like not just with salt but just like,theres like no herbs or anything like,that at it,also im pretty sure that the meatballs,were like mixed in with the spaghetti,like before they put it in the thing,in the container,because like,joe got a ton of meatballs in his and i,got i think three,so i think theyre just like thrown in,there with everything,and,just,yeah i think theyre just chucked in,there with everything before its even,plated so everybodys getting,inconsistent amounts,um,i wanted to like this i didnt have high,expectations i didnt think it was going,to be the most life-changing thing we,just thought it would be a fun reason to,go up to detroit,um,but,having low expectations for it,um,it was still just so not worth it,um i mean it was worth it to take the,trip and have fun and hang out with my,boy for a bit but like,to actually like go and get that,guys skip it,um and i mean unless youre a big fan of,eminem and like you want to go support,it and check it out do that sure great,you know support the artist you like but,if you are just wondering if its good,and want to go,dude you can get better spaghetti out of,a [Music],look at that,[Music],hey guys im here today in downtown,detroit americas very own motor city,and you guessed it right around the,corner is eminems brand new pop-up,restaurant mom spaghetti if you know,anything about his lyrics youll know,exactly what that means now remember if,you do try to come its not open mondays,and tuesdays and on the days it is open,its open from 4 p.m till midnight i can,practically smell it already so lets go,take a bite located across the street,from comerica park home of the detroit,tigers is union assembly restaurant the,restaurant opened in mid-september just,one week prior to the pop-up mom,spaghetti which operates exclusively out,of its drive-through window around the,side of the building you wont have to,think too hard about your order because,there are only four items on the menu,spaghetti nine dollars spaghetti with,meatballs 12,spaghetti with vegan meatballs 14 and a,good old sketti sandwich for 11,if youve already eaten dont even worry,youre sure to wake up another appetite,during the average hour long wait in,line,[Music],more spaghetti than youve ever seen in,your whole life,okay so lets go do a one bite everybody,knows the rules taste test weve got the,sketti sandwich and the spaghetti and,meatballs so lets see how it is,look how big this is its bigger than my,head,this is giant i dont remember how much,this was i think this was 12,like thats a pretty decent sized meal,it comes with a piece of bread in there,too and parmesan cheese so lets get,some of the spaghetti oh my gosh,okay,okay,its definitely nice and warm okay lets,try the meatball,go ahead,oh i dont even know what i would break,this maybe,i have to try again,okay its not as bad as everyone had,been saying it was definitely isnt,gourmet its definitely not like wait an,hour in line for spaghetti but its not,bad i would rate it,a six out of ten i dont know being,generous because its kind of fun it,wasnt bad i would still eat that but,its not restaurant quality,okay the sandwich comes in this little,brown paper bag,oh nice big hefty bread look at that you,can tell that theyve used like butter,or something on both sides,oh so good,okay,i probably find potatoes and spaghetti,in there its all bread,there is definitely spaghetti in there,i would also give this like,a five and a half out of ten,its not bad at all i dont think i,waited an hour in line to eat it but,its definitely not bad lets head on,inside and check out the trailer which,is possibly one of the most exciting,bits about this,your bag of food will be your golden,ticket of entry to get inside the,restaurant but beware there is limited,seating from mom spaghetti customers,separate from the rest of the restaurant,upstairs is the famed trailer its a mix,of memorabilia and merchandise that,feels like one part store and one part,groovy museum,[Music],[Applause],[Music],[Music],no way,five please make sure to subscribe to my,he better than a,channel and like this video comment down,below do you know eminems lyrics,because you listened to it as a kid or,cause your siblings played it because my,brother played it all the time growing,up so i inevitably know all this can i,literally get spaghetti on me already,see you guys next time bye,its an eight stand,[Music],you

[Music],oh whats up guys this is the eric,barber here and i just came out of moms,spaghetti the brand new uh restaurant,pop-up that eminem created i just got,this cool little merch here and i also,got this,hi my name is slim shady shirt as well,we got some spaghetti right here,uh for a quick taste test,and we also got,a moms spaghetti sandwich for us to try,out as well,so im gonna go ahead,get my first motherfreaking bite in,[Music],oh,[Music],its like,not bad like it first hits pretty good,and then um,the quality starts to deteriorate,deteriorate a little bit,not too impressive,i should also mention that i waited in,line,for six hours in the brittle cold,[Music],the steady on its own is not doing it,for me,um im also going to give it a 5 out of,10.,as for the skinny sandwich dont worry,its not um like this my camera guys,taste test but ill go ahead and give it,my own little bite,[Music],oh this is like a grilled cheese,skitty sandwich,its actually remarkably better,ill go ahead oh its really greasy,though i was about to wipe it on my own,freaking shirt,but,thats remarkably better ill give this,getty sandwich a 7 out of 10,the normal steady 5 out of 10 eminem,i can see why you threw this bad boy up,anyways standing in line for six hours,got my knees weak arms heavy,vomit on my,jacket and merch already hey guys i felt,like i ended the video a little bit,abruptly uh honestly this was a backup,cameraman that i had that was recording,me,and he was freezing and he wasnt really,vibing so much is more so like a favor,so i want to wrap it up as quick as,possible,i also like to mention that i did get a,free sticker from mom spaghetti mom,spaghetti detroit michigan uh its a,permanent restaurant in detroit michigan,which is pretty cool,a lot of people have been asking was,eminem there he was there but uh for a,very very brief amount of time,for only the first 10 customers he was,handing out spaghetti,and those,first 10 customers were there at 7 00 am,and they didnt start serving food until,5 pm so these guys are really dedicated,and it works so theres no possibility,of me getting to meet eminem or,anything like that,um the merch store is actually located,right above mom spaghetti and the merch,was pretty affordable this shirt and my,slim shady shirt,were only about 25 each and they had a,lot of different varieties which was,really cool the merch store is actually,designed to be like um the trailer,from the movie eight mile starring,eminem which i thought was a really cool,detail,last thing i wanted to touch on real,quick uh why i was not a big fan of the,food overall the spaghetti was pretty,bland it was not really flavorful it,kind of tasted like it was old like i,didnt hate it and i didnt really mind,it that much but even after waiting six,hours i was really not in the mood to,just wolf it down,or anything like that at least for me,personally,uh my camera guy though did finish his,sketti sandwich really quickly i will,say it was really awfully greasy like,greasier than any pizza,ive ever gotten before but if you eat,it with some napkins i think itd be,pretty good,so yeah um i recommend this restaurant,just just for the experience especially,if youre a hip-hop enthusiast or an,eminem fan,if not,um it probably wont interest you too,much so thanks for watching everybody,and be sure to like comment subscribe,for more videos ive been looking for,more ideas and suggestions in general so,feel free to leave them down,and i can work on them peace out,everybody
