Why you SHOULD watch MONSTER (Quickie Review)
why should you watch before we answer,that question lets give you an,understanding of what monster is no its,not about a big giant fluffy monster,those things that kids are hiding from,in their closets but more a blond-haired,man who goes on a psychotic killing tree,getting tonight a man who saved his life,accused of being a murderer yeah it gets,pretty dark but we follow a tin ma as he,runs away from the police an amine with,it which to sort of prove his innocence,kind of and would man house wanting to,make this show as accurate to the manga,as possible extended the show to 74,episodes for the most part this is a,thriller mystery moving from episode to,episode as the plot slowly unravels but,what makes this show stay help from,other crime thrillers and gain the,praise it has its own returns why should,you watch this show in the short answer,to that is the specialized one of the,most unique and kind of almost,off-putting a time sort of storytelling,that I have witnessed seeming to fold in,a multiple character stories into one,well it does follow Tenma it soon fears,off to tell other character stories and,then goes full circle and connects to,the main story it reveals important,aspects to the plot and witness and,allows for each character introduced to,get their own story in depth to who they,are and everyone weve run into has,flaws on make them relatable in society,and is a very grounded cast from a, and annoying ex-girlfriend who is,an alcoholic to a ginger with no soul,wanting a home and then one being the,probably at least relatable a yet is,someone who seems to form the darkness,that is in society he has a darkness in,the hate that plagues the world being,someone you really see being someone,that is always in the shadows and that,is a total to show sense for the most,part it should emptiness and,hopelessness that is everywhere we will,all die alone crying in a corner but it,never gets really edgy seeming having,the contrasting appeal being the,characters that follow Tenma and they,attempt to help people in the world also,offer support but the serious tone is,very exemplified by the,excellent directing art in music,building the darkness intention in plot,twist that will come along with the show,and yes this is a brutal show that does,to pick torture murder and suck it so,much,but monster as a whole is one of the,most in-depth in thorough crime the,doors out there then if youre retired,of wealth episodes of CSI Miami I say,jackpot I want something with intriguing,and realistic characters then this is a,show for you what is the best crime,thriller and shows out there even,outside of anime but there are a few,things that might affect ones uh,viewing experience that is its kind of,an older show its four by three ratio,and looks somewhat older its also very,very slow pace if youre looking for an,action-packed crime thriller like,Psychopaths or CSI Miami goodness will,let you down a little bit but if you,love yourself some psychotic killers a,slow billing story with a path to match,in psychotic kids books then this is why,you should watch the anime monster in,that is it for this video this will be,probably a new way Im trying to go,about reviewing and different shows and,video games right now more a testing,phase on the channel seeing what I feel,more comfortable with and what videos,really do well and say this video does,do well then Ill probably make all,these videos more in depth or certain,ones more in depth so tell me what you,thought of this video and also what you,thought of monster if you might watch it,now otherwise my name is arcane Keyblade,and I will see you all next time peace

monster Sebelum gua mulai ke,videonya gua mau ingatin lagi ke kalian,kalau video ini bersifat subjektif yang,artinya ini berasal dari penilaian gua,pribadi gitu jadi untuk segala perbedaan,pendapat dan hal-hal lain yang,bersangkutan harap dimaklumin Oke tanpa,berlama-lama lagi mending langsung aja,kita Play intronya,hai hai,[Musik],Hai anime monster ini merupakan anime,yang diadaptasi dari manga karya naoki,urasawa dengan judul yang sama yang,rilis pada tahun 94 dan berakhir pada,tahun 2001 dengan total 160 acap Kalau,nggak salah itu Sedangkan untuk anemia,sendiri rilis pada tahun 2004-2005,dengan total 74 episode dan digarap oleh,studio metals anime ini bersetting di,Jerman pada tahun 80-an sampai 90-an,Kalau enggak salah dengan karakter utama,seorang dokter yang ahli banget dalam,bidang bedah membedah bernama kenzou,tema-tema ini berperilaku sangat baik,dan bisa dibilang sampai banget gitu,orangnya suatu hari ini dia diharuskan,gitu untuk memilih antara mengikuti kata,hatinya untuk menyelamatkan seorang anak,kecil yang tertembak di kepalanya atau,menyelamatkan Walikota atas arahan,atasan di rumah sakitnya namun dia pun,memilih untuk menyelamatkan si anak,kecil ini tadi dan alhasil si atasannya,ini ya marah gitu dan mencopot,jabatannya sebagai kepala bedah di rumah,sakit tersebut waktupun berlalu hidup,tema makin ancur nih karena dia,mengetahui bahwa anak kecil yang,diselamatkan pada hari itu merupakan,teror sesungguhnya yang akan meneror,sepanjang cerita monster ini,hai oke dari premisnya ini sendiri,sebenarnya anime ini memiliki cerita,yang sangat berat gitu ndak bisa,dibilang ya Dikarenakan selama,keseluruhan cerita anime ini,berorientasi pada permainan emosi serta,psikologi primanya gitu anime ini,menyajikan filliang Dark dan sedih,sekaligus dikarenakan teori,berkepanjangan yang ditimbulkan si,antagonis karismatik yang bernama,Johannes Liberty,Hai yang ngebuat gue suka sama anime,satu ini Tentunya banyak ya banyak,banget malah Banyak banget aspek-aspek,anime ini yang menurut gue pribadi,sangat terkemas dengan baik dan,tereksekusi dengan sempurna gitu baik,dari segi suasana yang dibangun dalam,setiap Sisinya beserta tentunya musik,pengiring yang menegangkan ngebuat gue,pribadi tut excited setiap ngikutin,episode gitu tiap episodenya gue ikutin,tuh excited banget gua bahkan sampai gak,sadar gitu bahwa anime ini tiba-tiba,udah habis aja gitu 1 episode ya karena,terlalu aja tadi ya sama anime-nya,bahkan ya opening dan ending song anime,itu bener-bener sesuai banget sama tema,yang diusung sama anime ini bahkan ya,walaupun komposisi openingnya cuman,melodi dan vokal sedikit ya gue bisa,ngerasain itu betapa gelapnya file yang,dihadirkan di anime ini dari segi,psikologisnya apalagi ending song yang,menduga pecah banget cuy ilustrasi dan,juga lagu yang dihadirkan dipilih di,anime itu bener-bener sesuai banget,untuk menggambar aja diri seorang,monster gitu oke dari segi Suites,seperti gua bilang tadi ya anime ini,sebenarnya meskipun temanya cukup dan,berat memicu konflik konflik yang ada,dalam sepanjang cerita anime ini sendiri,menurut gua sangat amat masuk akal gitu,lu gak bakal gitu nemuin satupun,kenaifan yang ada pada anime ini karena,anime ini penuh dengan elemen-elemen,realistis atas ketidakmampuan setiap,manusia pada ceritanya gitu dikarenakan,ya pada anime itu sebelum sumber utama,kekuatan manusia cuma senjata api tangan,kosong sama otak gitu yang membuat,konflik pertikaian pada anime ini tuh,gak bikin bosen dan terasa fresh lah,buat orang-orang apalagi kayak gua yang,biasanya nonton anime super power gitu,fantasi gitu,Hai tokeknya terlepas dari elemen cerita,yang menurut gua bagus banget banget ada,hal lain yang bener-bener bikin gue,takjub sama anime ini hal tersebut,adalah karakterisasi dari setiap tokoh,yang ada di anime ini ini anime,development karakternya bener-bener,legit dan kerasa banget cuy percaya ama,gue ya lu bakal jatuh cinta sama seorang,karakter yang Bahkan baru muncul atau,malah cuma muncul beberapa episode uang,gitu ya anime ini sebenernya memiliki,segudang karakter penting itu dan bahkan,gua pun nggak bisa ingat sesuatu kecuali,gue lihat muka karakternya gitu ya kayak,enggak sih tidak episode lu bakal ketemu,terus sama karakter baru gitu ya awalnya,gua mikir sih tentang konsep kayak gini,ke agak terlalu Riskan enggak sih anime,ini terlalu mengenalkan karakter yang,semuanya ini dan sedetail ini gitu Namun,ternyata gua salah j karena semakin lama,lu nonton episode dengan karakter baru,tersebut semakin lu akan diperlihatkan,dan sadar bahwa karakter tersebut,kita memiliki atau akan memiliki impact,yang besar pada alur cerita nantinya,baik pengungkapan masa lalu ataupun,cover ini yang nantinya akan membantu,perkembangan cerita ya soal torsi patut,diacungi Jempol ya bahwasanya penokohan,yang digambarkan oleh urasawa Sinshe ini,sangat kaya dan Solid itu lu bahkan akan,lebih prefer untuk memfavoritkan set,karakter dibandingkan si karakter,utamanya si Kenzo tema gue ya gue,pribadi ya gue bahkan lebih prefer atau,suka gitu sama karakter site kayak,grammar dan bahkan Yohan ketimbang si,dokter tema ini jadi katakan set,karakternya yang bahkan pamornya lebih,nampak ini tadi dibandingkan karakter,utama menuju gua pribadi Perancis Tenma,ini pada anime-nya gak gak terlalu kuat,Gitu seakan-akan dia tuh kayak cuma,formalitas agar ceritanya itu punya,alasan yang kuat untuk terus berlanjut,itu jadi karena kasih tema ini pun,jarang muncul gitu diarenya tingkat,kemunculan dia tuh gak sesering MC anime,lain yang tiap episode pasti muncul atau,enggak dua banding satu tingkat,kemunculannya di anime tersebut ya bisa,jadi agak muncul Map kau lebih karena,cerita lagi berfokus ke karakter lain,yang nggak kalah penting di waktu yang,sama gitu tapi meskipun begitu gue bisa,bilangnya development karakter si Kenzo,channel ini masih kerasa dan sesuai sama,apa yang diekspektasikan gitu dengan,kemunculan yang bisa dibilang jarang ini,pribadi karena tema yang penuh cahaya,pada awalnya sampai dia tenggelam dalam,kegelapan dan kemudian makin lagi itu,benar-benar pas mengubah pribadi,kekurang dan kelebihan itu,Hai setelah bahas-bahas kelebihan yang,ada di anime ini yang bisa dibilang,banyak banget gua akan beralih ke hal,yang regu a menjadi kekurangan dari,anime ini menurut gue pribadi yang gua,kurang suka dari anime ini pribadi,Menunggu adalah endingnya cuy Oke,seminggu Abbas yang ini gue mau ingatin,lagi ke kalian kalau kemungkinan ini,bakal spoiler tapi sebisa mungkin enggak,ya oke intinya ending anime itu ganteng,banget coy gantung dan bahkan,menimbulkan banyak-banyak diksi gitu,terlalu banyak bahkan sampai kita tuh,ragu untuk menuntun endingnya itu kayak,gimana gitu yang relevan untuk Jangan,cerita anime ini gitu ditambah yang ada,satu plot hole yang bikin gue penasaran,banget sampai sekarang tuh dia nih lu,mungkin yang nonton udah pada tau ya,kalo nonton ya call tersebut adalah nama,asli dari si kembar ya Sian Na dan juga,sih Yohanes si kembar di anime ini tuh,diceritakan memiliki nama asli gitu Yang,mana kan si tema juga pada episode,Akhirnya ketemu sama si orang tua si,kembar ini,Hai Dek kamu nanime-in itu seolah,menjadikannya tetap menjadi misteri itu,sampai akhir cerita yang menduga pribadi,sih Apa sih enggak diungkap aja gitu ya,gue pribadi sih lengkap ini sebagai plot,hole gitu ya karena gue kurang puas,jadinya gitu SMK ini deh gue pribadi ini,agak kecewa Bisa dibilang sama klimaks,atau Puncak konfliknya dimana film dan,MC serta beberapa saya karakter nih lagi,ngumpul berhadapannya berhadapan di satu,tempat di deh pas semua ketegangan,kegeraman dan kesedihan berkumpul di,satu tempat tersebut,dimana juga east germany the iron curtain nazi,experiments the communist bloc the czech,secret police the historical,significance of areas like prague and,dusseldorf honestly just learn all of,european 1900s history and youll be,all right while monster is still,exceptional as a story and psychological,thriller on its own its impact is only,increased by understanding the,historical context and significance in,which everything happens so lets jump,into what happens and then well talk,about the when and why the year is 1986,dusseldorf germany the berlin wall,stands erect separating western federal,republic of germany and the,soviet-occupied german democratic,republic to the east dr kenzo tenma is,the big brain japanese immigrant,neurosurgeon on the block he is aiming,for head of neurosurgery at eisler,memorial hospital and just saved the,life of a famous opera singer the man is,a prodigy hes capable of saving people,that other doctors would be at a total,loss with and he is also engaged to the,hospital directors daughter eva,heinemann you could say that everything,is going his way hes got the job the,girl the social standing money future,you name it so obviously its all gonna,get flushed down the toilet by the end,of the first episode horror stories you,know you cant have the happily ever,after on episode one this isnt a slice,of life anime okay almost immediately,tenmas little bubble of perfection gets,busted as a turkish woman starts,screaming at him in the hallway blaming,him for letting her husband die her,husband had been admitted to the,hospital before the opera singer but was,considered a lower priority so tenma was,forced to transfer to the opera singer,instead of this womans husband meaning,that another doctor operated on her,husband too late and he died immediately,in episode one we get one of the primary,themes for the entire show are all lives,created equal and odosawa pulls no,punches out of the gate according to,director heinemann and ava the answer is,no obviously you save those who are more,important to the hospital standing its,a business not a charity a no-name,construction worker isnt as important,as a famous opera singer i mean thats,just common sense right saving one of,these lives gives the hospital prestige,and recognition the other does nothing,to benefit their bottom line its all,politics and money and the director has,a press conference where he takes all,the credit for saving the opera singers,life none of this the business aspect,the weighing of one life over another,the politics and a job about saving,lives sits right with tenma this,conflict within him is only pushed,further during a nice dinner with his,fiancee and as tenma tries to share and,collect his thoughts on the matter eva,outright says that lives are not created,equal he quite obviously disagrees and,is extremely troubled by this idea then,lets add on to this unrest a,conversation with the director himself,where he cuts tenmas funding for,research despite it being nearly,completed and instead assigns tenma to,handle his own manuscript for his speech,at the next european medical convention,yet again putting his own fame and,politics over lives and research and as,you can guess tenma is understandably,rattled by this cut to the police,breaking down a door inside are two,elderly people both shot dead on the,floor a traumatized girl is standing in,the corner over the bleeding corpse of,her twin brother tenma is paged the boy,isnt dead but he needs to be operated,on immediately if theyre going to save,him i mean the kid was literally shot in,the head so yeah they kind of need 10,men to operate on him because no one,else in the hospital has the brain,surgery skills to save him and literally,as tenma is about to cut into the kids,skull he again gets called out of the,operation room to perform on another,patient the mayor whos

when were on the review set so I guess,this is a review,is that a half in the bag its not,really a movie its not a Jane Mike,talks about because its not something,we really loved right but it certainly,needs to be talked about,on todays episode of the Dahmer show,we have to title this episode as,awkwardly as the actual show is titled,Dumber because I think all creative,decisions are made by algorithms now so,Im assuming it was originally just,called Monster the story of Jeffrey,Dahmer or the Jeffrey Dahmer story and,theyre like well you know for algorithm,purposes for for engagement for mentions,on Twitter we need people to know,exactly what its called right away so,we have to call it Dahmer so this is,called a Dahmer Dash,monster colon the Jeffrey Dahmer story,monster in my colon would have been a,more Awkward title,[Music],uh so Jay uh for me this this Dahmer,show just came out of nowhere just,appeared yeah and it was there I hadnt,heard anything about it Im Im a a a,fan of the American Horror Story show,um I still watch American Horror Stories,the Anthology series which goes from,pretty good to terrible to pretty good,to terrible and a back and forth uh that,shits got to be like the guiltiest of,guilty pleasures yeah yeah it is and uh,I dont like American Horror Story at,all and then this thing came out out of,nowhere this Dahmer show theres no,build up to it no publicity it was just,on Netflix one day and then I saw it was,from Ryan Murphy and I was like oh,is the absolute worst person to touch,this kind of thing because this stuff is,so over the top,um but I think his involvement must have,been minimal he was a producer on it but,it doesnt have his kind of signature,Touch of flock and now its huge,everybodys talking about this thing,some people really like it some people,are angry right which is kind of our,interest in it our angle right I watched,uh I watched the first like three or,four episodes right and I was like I,think Im out because it felt,voyeuristic creepy,like I dont know,uh the exploitive gross and and its,like okay I know this story,Im familiar with all the events that,happened with in regards to Jeffrey,Dahmer I dont need to see it play out,over 10 hours you know and Im like Im,out yeah and then,um you said you watched all of it and,then I started reading some things where,people were like mad about it and this,and that and Im like okay and you said,halfway through it kind of shifts Focus,I guess I mean we should point out in,case anyone doesnt know Jeffrey Dahmer,uh was based in Milwaukee we are based,in Milwaukee so theres that angle to it,that yeah kind of Interest Milwaukee,Police found body parts in a North Side,apartment and now they wonder if theyve,uncovered some kind of death factory you,and I are not we werent living in,Milwaukee,at the time we didnt grow up here but,you know being from Chicago the,Chicagoland area we obviously the whole,world knew about it but it was very much,on the radar when we were younger and,everyone knew who Jeffrey Dahmer was it,really was well outside the Milwaukee,range but but there is still to this day,even before this this show came around,for as long as Ive been here theres,always been this kind of like Jeffrey,Dahmer shaped cloud over the city that,just kind of comes out once in a while,yeah our first Studio we should point,out yeah we used to be closer to,downtown and we were directly across the,street from one of the bars the Dahmer,picked up victims at and we would see,every once in a while outside walking,down the sidewalk the the Jeffrey Dahmer,walking tour yes where they would and,that would talk about exploitation,thats the most extreme example of that,or or talk about uh not getting your,moneys worth yeah because yeah theres,that theres theres a couple bars you,know that are known but,um the Oxford Apartments were demolished,as you see in the end of the,the film series limited series,um his grandmas house is still in,existence in West Alice and theyre I,think two or three murders that happened,there,um the Ambrosia Chocolate Factory is no,longer there I mean like so much has,changed and its like the empty parking,lot of the Jeffrey Dahmer apartment,building its like okay but people go,visit it weird people and thats the,thing Ive lived in Milwaukee for 20,years Ive never felt the urge to go,visit the empty lot where Dahmers,apartment building was Im just not,interested in that kind of thing sure,but people are and thats with this show,kind of bringing attention back to,Dahmer again,uh and its theres always that talk of,like well hes the center Focus its,taking Focus away from the victims which,is what this show kind of tries to bring,back but now again theres talk of like,oh there should be maybe there should be,somewhere in Milwaukee a memorial for,the victims but then people uh in the,city saying well if we do that its just,going to turn into a mecca for Jeffrey,Dahmer people to come visit that yeah,and itll itll happen again itll just,overtake that yeah and thats thats,kind of always the problem every three,four five years theres a new Domer,movie or documentary or series or,something every few years and so this is,the just the newest one and its like,what else is there what is the point,this is kind of what Ellie I should say,I would I would propose that this is the,finale this is this is the be-all,end-all its definitely the biggest uh,in terms of exposure in a long time well,because theres been like smaller movies,theres the Jeremy Renner movie the,unless you read a book about it you,cant make a movie that encompasses all,of it its its very long and complex,story and it has you know dommers,bouncing around all over the place from,his youth to you know adolescence when,hes in the Army hes living in Ohio in,Miami and yes the majority of his,killings were in Milwaukee but there,were 16 victims and then he had all,these different little like,nuances and obsessions and incidents and,like thats what I was like oh my God,like seven more hours of this yeah like,we need different different perspectives,so a movie will get all the details,wrong because its two hours yeah and,then this is as close as you could get,to getting his most of the details in it,as you can while fudging lots of,different things for dramatic purposes,right which you have to
