when i say everyone is gonna be talking,about the show i mean everyone pam and,tommy premieres on hulu in three days,today were gonna talk about it what is,up flick fans welcome back to my channel,im losing my voice so apologize for the,the scratchiness the first three,episodes of pam and tommy premiere on,wednesday ive been able to see the,entire season so today im gonna talk,about it how it starts how it ends and,the madness that goes into this show,like i said everybodys gonna be talking,about it lets do it so pam and tommy on,hulu follows the story of pamela,anderson and tommy lees relationship,going back to their whirlwind romance,that started with them marrying after,only knowing each other for 96 hours in,1995 and from there comes the inevitable,the famous sex tape and thats really,what the show revolves around it starts,out with a bit of a revenge story with,seth rogens character and then it all,blows up this whirlwind of emotions and,this game-changing leak that not only,changed their lives pretty much everyone,involved but it also changed the porn,industry in its entirety now before i,get into what this show actually is and,how it operates and the phenomenal,performances at the forefront i do want,to mention and just let yall know that,this show goes extremely hardcore on the,nudity the sex and frankly anything that,you can think of when you think of a,tvma or just r rated movies so if youre,watching this with your family or your,kids its probably not the best idea,just wanted to get that away just in,case theres always someone robert,siegel is the show runner seth rogen,evan goldberg our producers you have a,couple of great directors here lake bell,craig gillespie who did i tonya so,somewhat of a similar true story feel,with a lot of emotions that go into,pretty much the entire show from start,to finish but what you guys are going to,see on wednesday are the first three,episodes and these are the episodes that,are going to have everyone talking this,is how it starts and in episode two you,see more of sebastian stant and lily,james than you have ever seen before now,they utilize prosthetics i dont know if,i want to go much further than that but,there is a lot that is revealed about,these two characters but the show is,hitting on a couple of things here that,i did not expect at all and that is the,intent on something so personal,involving nudity being released to the,public versus what is private and how,those things mirror the way that the,porn industry at that point operated and,how this sex tape really led to,massive changes the porn industry going,from what it was vhs tapes all of that,to the digital landscape this is kind of,the birth of the internet youre in a,time period where no one really knew,what the internet was or what it was,capable of and thats one thing i,thought was interesting about seth,brogans character in this film as hes,kind of discovering this along with,everyone else and what ive mentioned so,far its kind of hit on in the trailer,but that leads this tape to,revolutionize something that i had no,clue would get as deep and somewhat,complex in this show as it did and i,found that to be a nice touch because,going in im like oh its going to be,pam and tommy their story specifically,not much further than that but we spend,some time away with them and normally,with the two characters at the forefront,id be like i dont know especially,because stan and lily james theyre,giving the performances of a lifetime,but when we go away from that and were,with seth rogen and nick offerman who is,phenomenal i mean all the performances,are great but hes great in this show as,well,i found that to be just as interesting,and youre getting all of these things,coming to light in the first three,episodes we go from his story how their,relationship came about in episode two,and then episode three is when the,fallout really starts to happen so dont,expect it all to goat out in that first,episode there is a little bit of buildup,here and thats really what the first,three episodes are all about but i,promise you in episode four not only do,you get some great emotions from pamela,anderson and tommy but it also starts to,go a bit further away from comedy than,what it was and veer more into dramatic,territory because thats when we start,to see everything and how it impacts pam,and tommy because everything is,hunky-dory its great this is one of the,most hollywood-like relationships ive,ever seen and i dont know,if all of it is accurate because ive,heard some things about tommy lee that,took place in real life that this show,never really hits on so that could,definitely be something i see people,taking issue with but what we get this,overly dramatic and super like oh my god,youre the one for me i love you,relationship between the two this is,where i sit back and tell you as my,voice continues to go away that,sebastian stan and lily james disappear,into these characters lily james looks,just like pamela anderson again they use,prosthetics there are some things about,the way that they change their looks,that works so well but oh my god and her,performance in this show i dont know if,her character arc is as deep as tommys,but shes incredible in the series its,the best ive ever seen her and honestly,i love sebastian stan prior to this,this is the best weve ever seen him,because while maybe you dont feel for,tommy as much as you do pamela anderson,what she has to endure especially i,believe it was episodes four or five,when she is seeing all of these things,take place and its slowly starting to,be revealed to the world and nobody is,keeping the way she feels in mind its,all played as a joke and she also has to,go through something else traumatic and,that is all escalating i love the way,that that was portrayed and you feel so,much for pamela anderson because again,this is something that they did not,intend on getting out as for tommy you,dont feel as much for him but his,performance and the depth that they give,his character what he once was as this,rock star and then going on a bit of a,decline that you see play out through,the episodes i love that i loved how,deep we got and sebastian stan oh my god,his energy that he brings this character,it is incredible and theres another,aspect this character,but their chemistry seeing pamela,andersons life her getting ready for,barbed wire the movie that she thinks,will change everything but we know that,it ends up being a flop and seeing the,emotion that comes from that i just love,the way they handled these two,characters again its not always pam and,tommy especially in the back half of the,show as were bringing other people into,the investigation and the conversation,and then on the side here we have,everything happening with the porn,industry and it doesnt go as heavy on,the nudity and the sex scenes in the,back half of the season its really just,the first three episodes but you do have,sexual things happening in the,background because there are full,conversations being had in the middle of,a porn shoot so again dont watch this,with your family i also really enjoy the,filmmaking you can tell there are some,talented directors here episode to,episode and the way that the genre,shifts again theres a lot of comedy in,here at times i felt like it was maybe,too heavy on that but they go away it,becomes more serious at a point and the,look and feel of the show and just the,way they show us flashbacks especially,to seth rogens character its great,some great side performances someone,plays jay leno and does it exquisitely,like,perfectly in the show i thought that was,great my biggest issues come from maybe,not showing certain aspects of tommy lee,and then pamela andersons development,is just not as good as tommy lees even,though she is the emotional center of,this film as she should be so i wish,they would have explored that just a bit,more but in terms of bringing a true,story to life in a way that is,fascinating inter

yeah were gonna talk about the shocking,nudity on this show but were also gonna,talk about some really interesting,subjects and i think its gonna surprise,you that pam and tommy both the show and,the couple are so much more than just,the sex tape this is fascinating this is,such a good show and i really hope that,people check it out beyond because the,most of the nudity is up front so i hope,that people and this isnt a its not a,single season dropped all at once it,starts out with three episodes its,engineered to land with a bang,but then you have to watch the remaining,eight week to week and i really hope,people do because what this show,accomplishes,is incredible theres no spoilers,theres no big spoilers in this review,but i really want to call attention to,just how good this show is uh its,amazing its incredible all right and,you might be wondering how i know a lot,of you will be also tuning in for lily,james and sebastian stan they are both,incredible,career defining performances and im,aware that sebastian stan is the winter,soldier but this is the best thing ive,ever seen him do all right so like most,of seth rogens work who co-stars here,and also co-developed this mini-series,along with serving as one of the,executive producers pam and tommy is,hardcore raunchy but also incredibly,clever and insightful,ryan murphy found great success with the,people versus o.j simpson american crime,story remember that what a show a,success murphy himself has not been able,to duplicate but here comes rogan with,his own take on that,which while not quite at the level of,the legendary oj miniseries comes,incredibly close it comes real close,its its really strong if you liked the,people versus o.j simpson you will also,love this show,yes theres nudity especially in episode,2 from our two stars the series,premieres february 2nd as i said with,the first three episodes and it is sure,to trend especially thanks to episode,two and while theyre sporting,prosthetics those prosthetics are,incredibly convincing basically,sebastian stan goes full frontal with a,twist thats very seth rogen you really,get in there and lily james is topless a,number of times its worth noting that,in her work for playboy pamela anderson,often went full frontal herself but,american tv isnt quite there yet on,that note i really want to make this,because this was one of the most i think,important theres everything this show,touches on is important and i think,people might be so focused on the nudity,and the sensationalism of the show they,miss these very important points,but,pammy and pam pam and tommy,is a very very compellingly making the,distinction between nudity that is,intentionally released by someone with,not just their consent but they have,oversight of how that nudity is,presented and having nudity thats meant,to be private exposed against someones,will that they had absolutely no say in,how it was released or presented that is,a crucial distinction and this show,makes that distinction not just,intellectually but emotionally the,episode where lily james portrays pamela,anderson having to go through an,incredibly cruel and toxic deposition is,a gut punch and so important to,depicting what so many women find,themselves going through that was just,one of the best most amazing things ive,ever seen,now in addition to nudity for uh pam and,tommy those characters theres also just,a ton of nudity and sex scenes,throughout the show across the board,sometimes just going on in the,background during a scene because the,porn industry is a huge player in this,story as well for reals theyre not just,sensationalizing this youll discover,that the porn industry is how the tape,got out but also this is amazing that,pam and tommys sex tape actually helped,revolutionary revolutionize the porn,industry and bring it into the digital,age this is the thing that was,responsible for that i mean it probably,would have happened anyway but this was,this was what did it its incredible,fred heckinger best known as quinn on,the white lotus steals his scenes as an,up-and-coming player in the porn,industry who believes websites are the,future how he helps resolve the leaked,sex tape situation,is fascinating it blew my mind and its,true true story,also heckinger is totally going to be in,competition for roles going forward with,none other than mccully culkin they have,very much the same vibe so much so that,i was like macaulay culkin you should,have gotten this role and what do you,know by the way culkin has made a bit of,a comeback recently working for ryan,murphy uh rogue,ryan murphy should be a concern that,seth rogen might be coming for his crown,a little bit rogans very talented,producer,now pam and tommy is not just about the,leaked sex tape and the evolution of the,porn industry but the evolution of,celebrity as well with the internet,making it harder for hollywood to,control the narrative with traditional,measures of control like lawsuits which,are not nearly as effective here as they,once were,pam and tommy trying to figure out what,the internet even is and how to get on,it,i will not ruin the scene for you its,so fantastic is absolutely hilarious but,also terrifying considering the invasion,of privacy from anonymous sources that,we all know the internet becomes for,many people but especially for,celebrities,also you see an evolution of what big,outlets consider news seeing the la,times refuse to cover the leaked sex,tape at first or the tonight shows,initial reluctance to discuss it in,their monologues is fascinating,considering how quick those same,platforms are to jump on those exact,same type of stories today they dont,even think twice about it today,the actor playing jay leno buried under,his own prosthetics does a great job and,also highlights the power of the tonight,show that it once had at one point uh,and before the proliferation of late,night television as well as lenos naive,insensitivity to his female guests,feelings i think that this show is very,fair to the tonight show i think that it,presents both the positive you know the,good and the bad of the of what the,tonight show accomplished at that time i,think people forget how big the tonight,show was especially under jay leno,uh the show is um oh also theres a,great commentary on a mostly male press,at the time uh especially when it comes,to entertainment to see all these male,reporters thinking that this leaked sex,tape is cool and have no thought to how,pamela anderson might actually feel,about it is really interesting to watch,and i think i think the show is fair in,that it didnt occur to those,individuals at the time but today,theres of course no excuse and i think,their content like pam and tommy helps,make that clear,this show is also a great crash course,on how to handle damage control,especially for women who unfortunately,do have a different set of rules,then on the other hand i think the show,sometimes goes too far in trying to,romanticize the situation in a couple of,places actually but for instance the,show puts forward the pamela anderson,might have beat out kim basinger and,elizabeth hurley for their roles in la,confidential and austin powers,respectively if not for the bad,publicity of this tape come on barbed,wire was not just poorly reviewed but a,huge box office flop right i mean its,incr its ridiculous to suggest that and,i think there are other ways they could,have done pamela anderson justice which,well discuss in a moment,at least the show does acknowledge that,barbed wire was a major misfire and in a,very sympathetic way though as well this,show is the show itself while depicting,a lot of toxic behavior is not toxic at,all its very well thought out well,theres one big flaw well get to that,in a moment moment,but pam and tommy thinking theyre super,cool but then discovering that people,are laughing at them,is heartbreaking and very well done by,the show and the way they depict that,one of the most surprising things about,pam a

nearly 30 years ago a beautiful canadian,baywatch girl fell in love with the,drummer from motley crew and then a,disgruntled carpenter stole their sex,tape and the rest is history you can see,it all in the new limited series pam and,tommy im okay really im okay hey,its a very dangerous lot oh yeah sure,a lot of murders,i gotta go its not even four i know i,have to see you again tomorrow,it is tomorrow perfect where are we,going,um,im um,to where,uh,please welcome lily james and sebastian,stan,[Applause],i have to tell you its funny to because,i was just watching the show last night,and now seeing you guys made quite a,transformation its very remarkable,thank you did you um,well i know for instance lily you,actually lost did you lose your eyebrows,or they just,this is so humiliating this is really,how i walked around for the whole job it,was like a real fool from grace as soon,as like for four months i i looked like,that yeah off camera off camera,and sebastian youre in just in a thong,a pair of thong underpants for the whole,episode the whole first episode yeah i,mean he didnt like to wear clothes when,he uh when he played the drums so i i,had to you know basically i didnt know,that extended to like hanging out with,his friends and rehearsing that he was,in his underwear,well you know,when youre carrying some some luggage,around,youre okay youre okay and its on you,know,what as far as playing pamela anderson,who is you know an iconic figure whats,here in the united states youre not,from the united states obviously what,like how do you figure that out i dont,know it was it was the biggest challenge,and i really im crazy and when they,asked me to do it or we spoke about,doing i was like are you insane have you,seen me this is crazy um,but i,i mean i just studied her and what i i,love her you know do you love her yeah,did you love her before did you fall in,love with her both but you know i used,to watch i used to watch your interviews,with her the whole time to learn how to,do her accent oh we had some very,in-depth interviews really when she,sprayed champagne all over you i have,almost no memory of any of that honestly,the only thing i remember is that it was,hard she would stare at herself on the,count on the monitor on the tv screen in,front of her and it was hard for me to,even get her attention,which he looked good,so you guys uh you buckled down you,studied pam and tommy i have to tell you,well i was watching i remember the whole,story you know but my wife we were,watching and she didnt remember even,that the tape had been stolen right yeah,well i think thats one of the things,with the show that you know were,excited for people to see because,theres a lot about the story that,people dont know and,um and that is one of the things that,they had nothing to do with it you know,um and and it really it is a an american,crime story after all you know and i,also was kind of under the impression,that they were just careless with the,tape and left it out but was it was much,more than that yeah,what are you leaving out of your house,nothing anyone wants to see believe me,but when youre in the privacy of your,home you know like,you dont always think about that i,guess like maybe now in 2022 we should,and seeing this maybe we have to think,about what we leave around but yeah but,you know they were they were home they,were in love they you know they got,married in four days in cancun,passionately and and its like they just,were acting actually like a married,couple yes the first viral tape that,went out there i mean the first so this,was completely unprecedented situations,right this was pre kim kardashian tape,yeah this is they were pioneers in that,respect for sure,in a way its like youre playing lewis,and clark you know,of celebrity porn yes,so um,i dont know about that i mean you know,um uh again like i i i feel i feel for,them its hard for us to to not have,dove in so deep as we have because i,think we were both just terrified to,play these characters you know like to,play them i mean theyre theyre real,live people and i dont have tattoos on,my body and i mean its like i think we,both just we would we would just on a,repeat listen to the to their voices and,their interviews and i know we both did,this,we would actually scream into pillows in,between the scenes because i was trying,to get my my voice raspy to sound like,him and and you were doing that too so i,was like youre screaming into a pillow,as well i think everyone thought we were,literally losing our minds in our,trailers like,yeah and i was and then i was doing,karaoke by myself the night before so i,could get,really harassed what songs did you do by,yourself,molly crew was a lot of it,billy joel,were you in the thong when you did the,billy joel,i had the tattoos though,yeah he looked great walking around in,tattoos and i walked around with,bleached eyebrows looking like a freak,the tattoos are uh drawn on i assumed,somebody draw them or they said no no,they have to be stuck on so they cant,you know have to shave for that now i,want to ask you about one other aspect,of um of finding this character,sebastian um in fact i believe we have a,videotape,now whats going on there,what is going on,yeah lily you dont really know about,this,anyway so i have my acting coach uh the,great larry moss happened to have taught,helen hunt for as good as it gets and,she you know he told helen hunt you need,to put nickels in your shoes so you,actually know when youre acting so you,actually know what its like to stand up,on your feet for 12 hours and i said,larry i need something myself,you know so he would you know we came up,with this idea um and so for the,duration of the shoot i actually uh you,know tommy was,a big man,and so anyway i uh i wore these uh,bare steel balls,i didnt want to i didnt want to tell,you because i you mean,i didnt yeah i you know so just in case,you need a little weight when you walk,into a room,heres my door these are me,wear them with pride baby wear them,why these are going in the smithsonian,you didnt notice the sound of something,clacking around i never heard pranging i,know it sounds insane to you but like,trust me i was like i was like i need to,kind of feel like a man,you are,a beautiful gift i have not received,anything like this before have these,been cleansed uh yeah yeah they have,okay all right i think youre fine uh,well lily james and sebastian stan are,with us and uh as are tommy lees uh,brass balls well be right back were,back obviously its,impossible to have not seen some of some,of his movies i mean i know you love,pineapple express i know pineapple,express yes of course of course huey,lewis sings the theme song i mean how,did you not love it yeah exactly,but i think i think the you know that,his laugh is just,you cant miss it you know its like,its like choir on sunday it echoes,around he kind of like comes before him,you like know where he is because you,can hear his life yeah this is funny,right it really really went up yeah,during that laugh it should be like a an,alarm clock or something like that im,sure someones got it did you guys know,each other before this,no oh wow so when you let them really,make out like you guys were making out,in that clip and you dont know each,other at all do you say anything to each,other beforehand like yeah lets go for,it or im sorry or anything like that,i just we we had mint we had mint i had,fake teeth in those so that like you,know right but yeah does that change it,a little bit was just more in my mouth i,guess but um,but,we never really saw

to be back at the vcr,repair shop that whole crazy adventure,with mr plinkett is finally over after,two and a half years,now we can get back to doing what we do,best talking about new movies that,people are excited about i just watched,another bruce willis movie me too,we need to talk to you about the four,deck privacy,[Music],well we decided to,dive back into bruce willis movies um,were making art this show makes a,dumpster fire look like,citizen kane theres been some,developments since our first part that,was only a month ago we did our bruce,willis video,and in that time,theres been two more bruce willis,movies that have come out,by the time im done editing this video,theres probably going to be three more,who knows thats true um but there was,also some other things that people were,starting to talk about that we figured,we should do a little bit of an addendum,to our bruce willis video and go into,that address it address it and were not,just going to do that so were like yeah,lets watch a couple more of these,[ __ ] turkeys,why not why not lets see lets see what,else is happening you only live once,why would you want to do anything else,with your time,this is a waste of time well we should,address the elephant,in the room,uh the rumors that no pun intended,oh hey uh the rumor that bruce willis,may or may not have dementia,uh which is why hes doing all these,movies really quickly to make a whole,bunch of money so that he could,potentially retire or,give it to his children i think is a,part of it and thats its,its not been confirmed by anybody and,its just speculation that thats the,thing is like now people are starting to,say it as if its facts but the only,source of it is like a couple of like,rumors in like gossip rag type websites,yeah uh and probably spurned on by our,video i think one was yeah i think there,might have been a little bit of talk,about it before even before our video,but its all just well i heard or he,might have theres some there are some,comments by people who worked on some of,the sets maybe even a director who kind,of,semi sort of confirmed it but you know,thats someones personal medical,situation so its entirely up to them if,they want to make it public were not,saying he is or isnt um,and hey people not wanting something to,be public ties in with the other uh,i wanted to talk about celebrity a,little celebrity personal life uh,what they do and dont want made,available to the public theres a theme,on this show uh i didnt even think,about that until just now but but we,weve seen some some comments on our,bruce willis fake movie factory episode,calling us,monsters and calling us hitler and that,we should burn in hell and that we,should kill ourselves because,we made fun of bruce willis,who at the time of our our taping we did,not know he may or may not have dementia,if he does thats very sad,um,uh,but we were merely commenting on the,fact that hes cranking out movies and,that theyre bad movies yeah made a,little bit of fun of bruce willis but it,was more as we said in that video it,opened up to a larger,situation of this as we called it the,movie factory right these things that,just keep getting cranked out and thats,thats more interesting than just the,fact that bruce willis is,bored and disinterested and not good in,them,yeah i mean i i think bruce willis has,been bored and disinterested for a long,time long before this and i think the,big sticking point is us laughing at the,fact that he uses an earpiece to be fed,lines which originally started from that,play he did the misery play yeah and so,um,you know were calling him lazy for not,wanting bothering to read the script,shows up for two days but really its,because he cant remember the lines well,you know well thats the thing is like,if thats true and we dont want to,dwell on it too much because its none,of our business if hes not making it,public its nobodys business uh but,if it is true then one that,puts him in a different light and youre,like oh okay i guess i understand why,you would just keep cranking these out,if you just want to make a bunch of,money for your family before you,completely call it quits because he gets,like a million dollars a day on these,movies but if its true that also makes,the filmmakers and the production,company look so much worse,where theyre just kind of taking,advantage of this person who isnt all,there a point on that,a final point on that well wrap it up,okay before we talk about the movies,because thats the fun part of the,movies um i would agree with you that,its,elder abuse if bruce willis was if,someone was he was holding a pen and he,said where am i you know what,what youre signing your receipt at the,restaurant mr willis oh,let me hold your hand and guide your,hand while you sign this contract thats,that says youll appear in this film for,one dollar,you know im sure he has people,uh agents and family members that are,saying yes hell he will do this shoot,for two days for two million dollars oh,yes he will,um,a stan lee situation yes and i want to,also mention i i,had a little mini rant where i said it,was,just awful i would say i personally,wouldnt show up on a set,making 99 of the budget for two days,phoning it in not getting out of a chair,i said it would feel awful because,youve got all these crew members around,you that are working,but,it is a,this these movies exist and are created,in a free market capitalist system where,bruce willis is paid that amount of,money,uh because he can be because hes bruce,willis,and no one is forcing anyone to stand,there and hold a boom mic,for 50 bucks a day,uh at gunpoint,you can choose to go into the movie,business and and they maybe these people,that are working,on the lower end of the the crew,spectrum will eventually move up in the,ladder and thats just how the business,works oh sure im not talking about the,lower crew member well i im addressing,my rant before and so bruce willis has a,name that name has value,um,you can say i worked on a bruce willis,movie yeah yes p the the crew might not,get paid as much as him but his name has,a value attached to it the movie,production if they skimp on everything,but the above the line costs the bruce,willis cost they skimp on everything,craft service they give people peanut,butter and jelly sandwiches they use the,worst plug-in visual effects the worst,locations this is shot against the green,screen we dont care what it looks like,and if the movie eeks out of profit,no ones to blame the only specter that,looms above this whole system is,the law of diminishing returns yeah and,whether or not eventually,the bruce willis movies will run out of,steam at this moment no one has died,uh people might be being treated shitty,maybe the theyre not getting paid a lot,yeah but it is what it is and eventually,the law of diminishing returns will will,end these movies and bruce will have,made,a nice,20 30 million dollars i mean i dont,know how much money his kids need thats,not my business,thats the end of that,it turns out he does indeed have,dementia,is up to him and his family um a friend of mine recommended that i,watch pam and tommy oh yeah the disney,plus,star disney players lily james a little,bit of prosthetic a lot of prosthetics,wow yeah if you didnt know pam and,tommy is uh based on the true story,about pamela and tommy lee about the sex,tape that got leaked and the story all,behind it and um youve got yes whos,tommy lee tommy lee is the drummer of,the band motley crew,crew okay,yeah gotcha,like,yeah rock and roll were super popular in,the 1980s and were very much like a,relic of that era and in the 90s they,kind of struggled when everyone shifted,into like nirvana grunts yeah but still,yeah great songs uh super crazy rock,star like tribal tattoos yeah,doing like uh theres a famous video,where one of them does a line of cocaine,thats like along this huge,banister and he like snorts it all the,way across its like rock and roll oh,yeah okay anyway this is all about uh,it starts off about this character,called rand played by seth rogen whos,playing a largely non-comedic role okay,first time i think,ive actually seen him steve jobs steve,jobs youre right steve jobs um and hes,really good in it and uh there are,comedic elements to his rob but he,basically plays this guy whos a,carpenter at tommy lees house whos,doing a refurbishment and tommy lee is,this like unhinged crazy rockstar he,keeps coming down to all these,renovations hes like nah change it man,i want a swing that goes from the,ceiling and theyre like what do you,mean like weve just spent two days,putting your bed here like you realize,its gonna take another two days to move,it hes like yeah just do it and theyre,like okay well you need to give us money,up front like you already owe us 14 000,and hes like what why and it the,relationship breaks down,and he ends up firing them without,paying them and rand is like you know,what,of this guy im gonna go back and get my,tools im gonna im gonna go steal,something and he takes this safe inside,tommy this isnt a spoiler he takes this,safe and inside the safe has like some,guns some cash some jewels hes able to,open the safe he like saws it over,everything and he finds this tape and he,doesnt find the tape for like days it,like sits on the floor of his house and,he finds the tape and realizes what what,happens and the story goes on from there,and you learn a lot about pamela,anderson and everything that happened,with her and who tommy lee is,and what i found my main taker which i,found interesting because i think the,story is fairly interesting but theres,nothing about it where im like oh my,god that happened but what i thought was,really interesting is that this was one,of the first pieces of media that went,viral on the internet and theres this,amazing moment where seth rogens,character and nick offermans character,trying to figure out how they get this,to more people because they draw its a,stolen tape and theyre going to all the,porn distributors in the whole of la and,none of them will take it because its,an illegal tape and they dont have,permission to use it and theres this,moment where they go why dont we just,put it on the internet what do you mean,the internet whats the internet we just,we just put it up on the internet how,long are they going to sue us like sue,who itll be anonymous what we can just,list it for free,and people will buy it and its the same,way theres like a pam and tommy sex,tape page and then they will you pay the,money and they will send you the tape,and it it it covers a lot of this like,what does it mean to have something,spread in a way that never has before,yeah it was the first time that they,started to like figure out how to upload,videos to the internet they didnt even,believe that was possible what do you,mean youre going to watch it how are,you watching that on your computer like,thats not possible so that was,something i found so fascinating because,i,grew up with slow internet but like over,the years ive sort of forgotten about,how seamless it is now versus how it was,and then you get this really great back,story of pamela anderson and what it,means in what the difference is between,doing something pornographic where you,give consent for someone to watch,yourself have sex on camera the,difference between taking someones,private intimate personal interaction,with their partner and putting it online,for everyone to see and the way that,pamela anderson is treated for having,already been viewed as a sex symbol and,the way in which shes perceived on,baywatch is obviously incredibly,sexualized and when shes trying to stop,this tape from circulating like the way,in which shes treated for being wanting,to like she wants to stop this thing,getting up but no one has any sympathy,because you make money off off of your,body and certainly so why would you even,care and its about understanding that,distinction another character sort of,realizing what damage that does,um and it and it is very entertaining,again kind of with the jared leto thing,ive not yet been like why has this been,made like what is the crazy part of the,story that im like wow i didnt know,that happened,but i will give a shout out to lily,james who ive not been in love with,before,but she really does lose herself in this,performance and shes unrecognizable,yeah,full full prosthetic like,boobs knows everything is just,completely like i was like that i cant,believe thats lily james thats what i,think pamela anderson looks like now and,sebastian stan who i think is,really really brilliant in this and i,can tell hes loving his costume and his,hair and his goatee and his tribal,tattoos and hes completely losing,himself in this like rock and roll,persona but ive not really seen him do,that kind of,more broad large acting before because i,find um,i find wind soldier a little bit,wonderful this is this is pretty easy to,bring this up because so i havent seen,pam and tommy i might go watch now you,know i think he should say its just,good good fun watch but the interesting,talk about sebastian stan because i,agree when ive seen him in hes got the,dullest character in the whole mcu of,bucky of the winter soldier and a tv,show where they flesh it out it does,thats why i never wanted to watch it,and ive i always looked at him in that,and i always i always believed that i,thought this guy,is clearly a better actor than this hes,just,stuck with this rubbish role of this,monotonous dull straight-faced wrote he,basically played a robot right yeah,so same thing every scene with him so i,havent seen pam and tommy but i did,watch fresh which is on disney plus,which is the new uh film with daisy,eddie jones from normal people do you,watch normal people yeah,like everyone else in the country yeah,during my heart it gave me so much,anxiety but it was probably the best tv,show yeah it was fantastic so so great,to see daisy jones um you know in a lead,role and its her and sebastian cern so,just quick uh summary of what the films,about,daisy aka jones is an american just,about ill say with the accent a little,bit soft,interesting because her irish accent was,fantastic,its a very soft american accent i can,hear the englishness coming right a,little bit okay however shes still,great very good actress um she is in la,she is uh having a very depressing time,on the dating scene on dating apps you,see her,on very depressing dates,and then she has this very sort of,honest uh natural interaction with,sebastian stan at the grocery store um,about food and they both love food they,both talk about it,and they get each others number and,they go on a date and they have a really,nice time and and its you know,wonderful and and they hit it off,theres something slightly mysterious,about him but like hes a doctor hes,really charming,um and then um they go away for a,weekend,and then something happens,something bad something very thrillery,and something a bit nasty which i wont,say all right but james,slight digression,how long into a movie do you think uh,how late in
