Waterpik Sonic-Fusion 2.0 Flossing Toothbrush Review
Combining an electric toothbrush and water flosser sounds like a great idea.,Waterpik first tried this with the original Sonic-Fusion, but it didn’t win me over.,Version 2.0 addresses some of the failings of the last generation, ,but for most people I would recommend different products.,Hey, it’s Jon from Electric Teeth here.,The vast majority of dental professionals recommend twice ,daily brushing and cleaning between the teeth at least once a day.,You may or may not do this, but the reality is far too few actually do.,Statistics suggest 53% of people brush twice a day. And only 30% of Americans floss daily.,It perhaps isn’t all that surprising then that nearly 50% of the US population ,have periodontal disease. Regular brushing and flossing can help prevent this.,I know flossing in particular can be tricky and it is the last thing that many of us want to do. ,It is for this reason then that I believe Waterpik created the Sonic-Fusion flossing toothbrush. ,They wanted to take away some of the hassle and reluctance.,The Sonic-Fusion is different. It works as a regular electric toothbrush, ,but connect the hose and your toothbrush is now a water flosser.,Instead of the water being pushed out of a nozzle, like a regular water flosser, the water is pushed ,up through the electric toothbrush handle and out through the bristles of the brush head.,Over the years I have tested lots of electric brushes and water flossers and and for some time ,Waterpik products have been my top recommendation for those looking for just a water flosser.,Waterpik is not a brand I would normally recommend for an electric toothbrush. Although ,they make them, they don’t sell them separately, they only come bundled with a water flosser.,At Electric Teeth, we believe the essential features you need in your brush are, a 2 minute ,timer, 30 second pacer and a pressure sensor. The Sonic-Fusion 2.0 lacks the pressure sensor.,Despite this, the toothbrush in its own right is pretty good.,The cleaning results are impressive. It does a good job of removing plaque ,along the gumline and even between the teeth and that’s ignoring the flossing capabilities.,Although it cleans the teeth well, for me, I don’t get the same ,just clean feeling as I do with Oral-B and Sonicare toothbrushes. ,It is a bit odd, because this brush has the same 31,000 brush strokes per minute ,as Sonicare. It might have something to do with the brush head, I’m not entirely sure.,The toothbrush has 2 speed settings, low and high. Low is definitely more ,gentle and equivalent to a sensitive or gum care mode you might find on other brushes.,The handle is a bit chunkier than most electric toothbrushes, ,and there is little in the way of textured surfaces to help you grip the toothbrush. ,That said, it doesn’t actually feel that slippery in hand.,Sealed inside the toothbrush is a rechargeable lithium-ion battery ,which is supposed to give 2 weeks use on a full charge. This would be ok if it achieve it. But, ,I only got 11 days from it. Many other brushes outperform this by quite some margin. ,It is marginally better than the original Sonic-Fusion though.,Another improvement compared to the original is the sound it makes. This is a fairly loud ,humming and vibrating sound. The original made a rather irritating whining noise.,There are 2 different versions of the Sonic-Fusion 2.0, ,the standard and then the professional. Both come in black and white color options. ,The differences are really relatively subtle between them.,One of the differences is that the Professional comes with a compact ,and a full sized brush head in the box, compared to the compact only with the standard model. ,Both head sizes can be used on the standard or professional variants. ,Aside from the size, there isn’t the wide variety of brush head styles ,like you get with some other brands. There simply isn’t the need for it.,The heads need to be replaced every 3 months. There is no reminder system built-in for ,this. And when you do replace them, they are quite expensive at around $25 for a pack of ,2. That is $12.50 each compared to around $5 per head you would expect to pay for an Oral-B head.,The included travel case is a nice touch. ,It is good quality and something too many manufacturers overlook.,The 16 ounce water tank gives anywhere between 1 and 4 and half minutes of usage time, ,depending on the pressure setting chosen. You have the choice of 10, ranging from 10 to 100 PSI.,10 is pretty powerful with most users likely settling for around ,6 or 7. The pressure is easily controlled via the rotating dial on the left side.,Unlike the toothbrush the water flosser has to be connected to the power outlet to work.,It certainly does the job, but it isn’t as good as a more conventional water flosser from Waterpik.,The handle can rotate a full 360 degrees when connected to the 3 foot hose. ,But you just don’t get the same accuracy as you do with other handle and tip configurations. ,It is more awkward with the brush head. I found getting the accuracy more difficult.,This setup works for many people, but it isn’t ideally suited for more ,advanced or specialized situations. For example, someone with periodontal ,disease isn’t going to be able to clean as effectively in the periodontal pockets, ,as they could with a specialized tip Waterpik offers with their Aquarius flosser for example.,The brushing and flossing at the same time is certainly a different experience ,and does provide some good results. I can see this working really well ,for those in a rush or the self confessed lazy brusher and flosser. But, flossing at the same ,time as brushing washes away any toothpaste and reduces any benefits the paste may bring.,Conceptually the Sonic-Fusion is a great idea. ,There is a space in the market for it. Version 2.0 is an improvement on the original.,But, for the majority of people, ,we are better served by a separate water flosser and electric toothbrush.,You get the benefit of features missing from the Sonic-Fusion ,and they normally work out cheaper too.,The Sonic-Fusion retails at $179.99 or $219.99 for the Professional.,Actual selling prices tend to be around $150 and $170 respectively.,Factor in the replacement brush heads and over a 3 year period you can save $60-80 ,by opting for different separate products.,My recommendation is the Oral-B Smart 1500 and the Waterpik Aquarius.,Yes, they do take up more countertop space, but I think it is worth it.,In the video description is a link to my comprehensive written review ,of the Sonic-Fusion 2.0 along with links to buy my recommended products.,Even if you do pick my recommended products, ,it’s worth knowing you that it is no good if you are using them all wrong. Or, ,if you are not doing other important tasks to keep your teeth and gums healthy.,This video demonstrates how to master your oral care routine.
Should You Brush & Floss At The Same Time? Waterpik Sonic Fusion 2.0 Review!
hi im dr joe nemeth im a periodontist,in southfield michigan, and today i want to talk about one of,the more recent, additions to the toothbrush world its, called the, sonic fusion its made by waterpik, whats good about it,is it combines the use of a water pick, with a toothbrush i have one,and i have used it and it does have, advantages it has a built-in two-minute,timer,you can choose between brush floss or,both,it claims to be two times as effective,as regular brushing or flossing, not sure about that you can adjust the, pressure of the water as you can with a,water pick, you do get two brush heads with this, small and like regular size, traveling case its easy to hold, yeah i mean its easy to hold but, theyre all pretty easy to hold,in my opinion okay heres my wonderful, disclosing solution which i used before,of course my lips will look red for the, rest of the day people are going to say,hey who, whove youve been kissing or whos, kissing you, well its the disclosing solution that,im being kissed by,let me just show you how this works this,is the brush, activated you can hear it and this is,just the water pick part,i like the water pick on high pressure,so im going to use this on high, pressure, along with the brush at the same time, and then well take a look and see what, the results are like so im not going to,start the water pick out of my mouth, because, ill need new ceilings and new floors,[Music],water is exhausted,it felt pretty good i felt like i was, getting good stimulation and good, cleaning now right down here i have a,temporary, composite so that picks up a little bit, more stain, until thats replaced with a permanent, veneer,i think the toothbrush is is fine im a,little disappointed in the fact that, theres a little more disclosing, solution left than i would have expected,on the other hand i was pleasantly, surprised by the power,of the water jet that was a little, stronger than i expected but,at this point i feel more confident in,using a separate toothbrush, and a separate water pick i use the, water pick on high pressure at least, twice a day, this does not replace flossing what, might replace flossing, are the soft pick advance that i use, between my teeth, and i think you use those flossing is,not, critical i still floss once a week, maybe twice but i dont floss daily i,dont think its necessary when im,using those soft picks,to stimulate massage and clean between, the teeth in a very very what i feel, effective and, thorough way but i have no objection to,flossing so my take on this is,its fine theres nothing wrong with it,if you want to combine, the water pick with brushing okay, but my own feeling is i can get more, strength and effectiveness, with a water pick by itself, than the water pick when its attached,to the toothbrush because i said,as i said i do believe the brush kind of,dilutes the power,of that water to some extent so once, again,i think most of these electric, toothbrushes do a great job and i think, you can do a great job with a manual, toothbrush also, just make sure that you do clean, thoroughly i would water pick,i would use inter-proximal cleaners or,floss, because you have to have your mouth, healthy because if your mouth isnt, healthy, you will simply not be as healthy as you, could be,remember healthy mouth healthier body, subscribe to my youtube channel i think, you can theres a,bell you can set off so youll be,alerted when i do a new video, wed love to hear from you questions, comments,uh most importantly have a great day, restore your smile and your health visit,dr nemeth.com,to schedule your appointment today

Waterpik Water Flosser vs Sonic-Fusion 2.0 // I help you pick
waterpik water flosser from aquarius, this is one thats going to be,the fusion is going to come with a,sonicare toothbrush built in and this, one is just going to be more like a,flosser this is the aquarius water, flosser it comes with the tank and the, tank is the the tank is the hero here it,comes in white and black thus on sale, but remember what i say the tank is a,hero and im going to explain to you why,so lets take it out of the box first up,youre going to be getting, your water flosser, instructional manual, and here is the actual unit so let me,just take it out and this is what it,looks like inside the box,so im gonna explain to you what makes, this one good because currently i have, one i use one thats handheld thats uh,this is not the tank my wife uses the, tank its just in a different bathroom, but, but im gonna promise you one thing if i,could do it all again if i could pick, one,if i could just get one water flosser, and not the handheld i would not get the, handheld i much prefer this version, because what you can do is,inside the box youll be getting two so,these are the flossing, attachments and these various flossing, attachments are gonna let let you decide, which or how you wanna clean your teeth,so how do you use it you just attach, your attachment right onto the top just, clip it in it clips in automatically if,you want to release it you just let it,go so watch, and then you can let it go,so its easy to clean now you replace it,back it just goes right there,so this is drawing about,[Applause],six watts it draws about six watts right, there you can see that and thats the, noise it makes if you have no water in,it because what does it do this is,activating the pump inside and theres a,pump inside and you can tell that by,there is a little water hose thing, thats going to be,sucking in the water and then its going,to eject it through your through the, entire tube, into your mouth so,and this is about 400,its about 400 milliliters so turn it on,you have it on floss mode and what do,you guys see there you can see that the, water is spraying the water,is spraying and its in that pulsating, pattern now you can choose it you can, choose floss or massage so this is in a,massage so you guys see its pulsing, and this pulsing action,is what is going to be helping to,remove and that you can, increase the intensity,so this is really getting more powerful, right you guys see the water splashing, and ill show you right here you can see,how powerful it gets, lets pop it out so the sonic fusion 2.0,okay so lets take it out of the box, because we showed you what a regular, water pick looks like now lets show you, what the sonic fusion looks like now i,love how this version the 2.0 i love how,it is constructed it came out it comes, out looking really nice you can see on,the build here they have a really nice, solid finish,no longer this type of dial theyve, added a easier to grip dial here so,you can see, there is a metal and this has no,clicking its just a really solid well, you know has some resistance to it so,you cant just switch between numbers, easily you have to put some effort into,it,now lets look at whats inside here is,your tank and how do you utilize that, tank its just much similar to your, its very similar actually to your water, pick except its going to be a little, bit different this is your tank youre, going to be taking out your unit which,is,take it out pop it open, here is your unit, and this is that, this is this is going to be a toothbrush, that has sonicare built into it again, multiple modes battery lasts a long time, but, but,if you pop this in here suddenly its, going to be a water pick so if you, detach this this is just a sonicare, toothbrush you could take this with you,you can use it as a travel toothbrush i,dont necessarily need this to use this,as a,you know i dont need to use this as a,water pick i could just take this put, this in my bag and use it that way bad, water were gonna add water into the, tank so water added water were just, gonna add water here you can see us,adding the water, and now so now that ive, attached it i can detach it it is no,longer connected here, and i can use it as a,brush,or a flosser so brush or floss you have, your various speeds here so were going,to use it as a brush so let me show you, that just by,moving this over and, brush ill activate it,that just means theres no water coming, out, its just a sonicare toothbrush so,i could use it on my teeth like i could, put it in my mouth and then you,you know, this is just brushing now if i press, floss or i change if i want to change, the speed i can just press speed this is,on a second speed, and thats on your, first speed now if i want to use it with, floss i can i can and when i press floss, watch, you guys see the water is spraying now,you guys see the screen, and you can see the bubbles that it,makes, you and lets have a honest conversation, about that will this be able to clean my,teeth and the only way to have that, comfort on this conversation is to talk, about it,so im here and im sitting in front of,my,im sitting in front of these water pigs, that we use now i use a water pick right,i have the handheld you just fill it up,the tanks are much smaller than this, except i have to fill that up every like, three times maybe two three times every, time i floss my teeth these you only, have to fill it up once and thats the, benefit of the tank second having this, one which is going to be combining the, sonicare toothbrush and the water pick,it ultimately will save you counter, space so you can always you know i might,i love the oral bees i love the philips, you know we have the aquasonics we have,a lot of various different um sonic, sonic just sonic toothbrushes however, because this uses combines it in both, you dont have to have two and you dont, have to charge two you dont have to,worry about that and if you ever want to,take it on the go it all comes in one, complete system if you ever just want a,water pick i recommend, well i recommend the one with the tank, because the tank system is going to,represent a real big easy good value, because the version with the tank is,going to allow you to,the version with the tank is going to,allow you to um,be able to clean your teeth and the, version with the fusion is gonna let you, brush it and clean it you dont need to,take it out you dont need to any, control you just put it in your mouth, and you go you go to each individual, tooth so watch ill show you if i was to,take this i would just go through my,mouth and go through each area just like, this, you know so,its a one-hand operation its a,one-hand operation no longer will i need,to hold it and go like this and go to,both sides i can do everything here and,if youre wondering well what about in,between the gums everyone you know this,is something that you might have heard,uh if you go to your dentist theyre, like okay you floss but you can always, floss better what about the area above, your gums right in between your gums and, your teeth you know that area where you, have might have some,uh gum,gum recede your gum, your gums might be receding you know, that area right here where the lining is,thats interesting because because the,the water pigs comes with come with, various brushes, and various tools in order to clean that, area better so if that area is,particularly bothering you they have, tools like this and this tool can get in,closer than a normal brush or just water, does, and here i since i have in the water, pick version here because i have that, hidden container, right i have that hidden container and, well see you can see the reservoir size, difference, right there you can see the reservoir, size difference this is like about 50,bigger,but i have this,if i want to go in between my gums,i can go in here with the traditional, water pick and this is a stiff brush and, thats going to be able to gently but, still clean that area in between your, teeth and closer to your gum line,if your gum line is receding this is i i,do find that this one is particularly, good for that

Best Waterpik Water Flosser Review (Sonic Fusion and Aquarius Demo)
whats up guys dr. B I came back with, another episode of braces explained now, this episode is gonna be a little bit, different because Im gonna be tailoring, this to every patient not only those, that are in orthodontics and that is,because what were gonna be talking, about today is water picks and thats, not only useful for people that are, going through orthodontic treatment but,all patients people have questions like, does water pick replace flossing how do,I use the water pick do I use it before,or after brushing or flossing all these, questions are things that Im gonna, address in todays video and Im very, excited that also in todays video if,you stick around to the end were gonna,be unboxing my two favorite water pick, products the sonic fusion and the,Aquarius so stay tuned to the end of,this video so we can go ahead and unbox, those and review the pros and cons and, indications for each one of these the, water pick products that were gonna, review in this episode are actually two,of my favorite ones and one of them, actually has an electric toothbrush, built into it so its your end-all,be-all for products that you need so I,really recommend these products and Im,actually gonna put a link in the, description of this video so that you,can access them on Amazon with that, being said though lets get started on,todays video which is the ultimate, water pick review lets go,[Music],so what a Waterpik is is a type of water, flosser and it could be confusing, because a lot of people think well if,its a water flosser does that mean that, its better or can replace string floss, and Im gonna start and give a little, spoiler right now and the answer is no,does not replace flossing but it is an,amazing adjunct to use in your oral, hygiene routine what a Water Pik is is,that it is a pressurized stream of water, which comes out of this device and you, could pick different forces and what it,is is like an oscillating squirt gun and,it squirts water on your teeth around, your gums to dislodge and break up any, biofilm or bacteria thats developing, there think of it this way its like, when youre washing your car its that, pressurized hose that could be used to,take off the initial layer of dirt off,of the car it gets into hard-to-reach,areas and disrupts the bacteria thats, forming by squirting water and basically, breaking up where this plaque is,developing but if it was just as easy as,that we would never need to brush or,floss so lets get into the first, question that is who couldnt benefit, from using a walk pick and the answer is,basically everyone the water pick is a,very useful tool for everyone to,implement into their oral hygiene, routine I really recommend it in my,braces patients just because its really, hard to clean around all that hardware, and will get a little bit more into that, later on but even if youre not in,braces or Invisalign it is a great great, tool because what it could do is,dislodge that bacteria and make it so,that youre more efficient at cleaning, your teeth now which I touched on a,little bit earlier is pen a Waterpik, replace flossing and the answer is no,the reason that water picker any water, flosser isnt the end-all be-all is that,we actually have to mechanically break,up this bacteria if you think about it,if you just put water on something even,if its pressurized theres still gonna,be something thats stuck to the surface, now imagine a car at a car wash if you, sprayed pressurised water on this car,and then use a white napkin or towel to,wipe it and look at it youll see that, theres actually still dust now bacteria, binds the tooth even stronger than dust, binds to a car so yes water pick is,great at getting that initial layer of,bacteria off of your teeth but you have,to follow it up with a toothbrush and, string floss to actually wipe the tooth, surface and dislodge a lot of this, bacteria so you might be thinking next, well if I want to use a water pickle, with floss and brushing should you water, pick fires should you brush first, phosphorus what is the order Im just, gonna chime in here and say if youre, enjoying todays video please hit the, subscribe button and the thumbs up so,you can stay up to date with all of my,content okay now back to it and the, routine that I usually recommend is I,like to tell my patients to start off, with the water pick the water pick is,used to initially dislodge any food or,bacteria thats in the mouth and free it,up now once thats out and youve rinsed, your teeth now you have the teeth that, are relatively clean and theyre ready,to be brushed and flossed the way you, want to use any and all of these water, pick tips is you want to aim it towards, the gum line and you want to be angling, and just like how we reviewed in our, brushing video you want to have it at a,45 degree angle and work it around the, gums and in between the teeth and this, will dislodge any of the bacteria thats, developing in the sulcus or basically a,right or on the gum line and also when, youre going between the teeth to try to,aim it between the contact to break up,anything that might be developing in,between the teeth both on the cheek side,as well as on the tongue side basically,to disrupt any bacteria that is,developing along the gums and in between, the teeth what I recommend my patients,to do next is to brush using a,fluoridated toothpaste and the way I,recommend my patients brush is in a,video that I will link out into this, corner and its how to brush with braces, but its also useful for people that are, just curious about the proper way to,brush your teeth using a fluoridated, toothpaste is really important because, what it does is it adds fluoride to the, oral cavity and this actually, strengthens the outer layer of your, tooth the enamel which prevents cavities, from developing after you brush your, teeth I recommend that you spit but, dont rinse your mouth because you want,to let this fluoride stay in your mouth,as long as possible and then next what I,recommend is my patients floss using, string floss or some sort of a string, floss product and what this will do is,actually go between the teeth and sweep, the bacteria in those areas that the, toothbrush bristles couldnt reach into,so youll go ahead and use floss and the, fluoride valves from the tooth paste, will actually be dragged into the teeth, and apply to the areas of the contact, between the teeth where cavities are, most likely to occur so to recap what I,recommend my patients do is start with, the Waterpik, dislodge all the bacteria in your mouth, loosen it all up follow up with the, toothbrush using a fluoridated, toothpaste and then follow it up with, string floss I usually recommend that, you use the water pickle once – twice a,day, definitely brush twice a day for two, minutes and you go floss once a day, usually right before bed is what I,recommend so next lets move on to the, unboxing of these products and looking,at the pros and the cons and really how,to use my two favorite Water Pik,products these arent the only water, flosser is available and not even the, only water pick flossers available but, these are my two favorite ones there, actually is one that is a portable one, which I am NOT reviewing in this episode, but Ill also put a link in this, description for and thats one that you,can kind of take on the go if youre, traveling or if you just want to keep, one at work or at school so the first, product I want to go over today is the,Water Pik water flosser Aquarius and, this is your traditional water pick, appliance and it basically has a,reservoir and a handle with a water, flossers so lets go ahead and get this, opened up as a dentist I have to open it,up with a dental instrument of course, theres no other way it just doesnt, work as well as I thought so you know, what were just gonna open it up,nice try no cigar,so the first thing you realize is that, its really not too too big and its, perfect to just keep on the side of your, bathroom countertop so this is what the,Waterpik Aquarius looks like and it,looks really clean actually why I love, the way it
Waterpik Sonic-Fusion Review [USA]
this is the Waterpik sonic fusion this,is an innovative new product that, combines an electric toothbrush with a,water flosser so it becomes the sonic, fusion flossing toothbrush Ive been, testing it for a good few weeks and Im,here to give you my opinions on it so,overall lets get to the point this, isnt really that great,I like Water Pik they make fantastic, product certainly in terms of water, flossers and this sounded great and okay, overall its not terrible but overall I,think the way they combined this isnt, the best way they could have done it I,think actually Water Pik have their own, complete care systems which include a,separate toothbrush and water flosser, which is better and I generally believe, investing in a separate electric, toothbrush and water flosser is a better, route than combining this this isnt, terrible theres a lot of things to like, here but I think theyve fallen short, considering the price theyre actually, asking for it so now let me go into a,bit more detail of why I feel this way,so what we need to understand first of,all is many people dont floss their, teeth but its an essential part of,cleaning your teeth and looking after, your oral health when you brush your, teeth with a manual electric toothbrush, youre missing up to 40% of the tooth, surfaces and thats where flossing using, string floss or interdental brushes, really helps because it cleans in,between those tight spaces that we have, between our teeth where plaque and, bacteria and everything can build up and, could be really damaging to our health,Waterpik are well known for their water, flosses which is a modern option if you, like an alternative or adjunct to string, floss or interdental brushes and theyre, clinically proven and very effective, now the sonic fusion is clinically, proven and is approved by the American,Dental Association so its got a lot of,good things going for it and the water, flossing function on here is not bad but, when you combine it in with the, toothbrush unfortunately there are some, limitations which I think existing water, flosser users will find irritating and, even new ones will find slightly and,and thats because the water comes, through the toothbrush head rather than, the more traditional tips that you get, with a water flosser now I also want to,just quickly touch upon the fact there, are two models here you have the SF 0 1,and the SF 0 2 theyre very similar but, there are slight differences in terms of,their features and price so the SF 0 2,professional version comes in around, about 199 dollars compared to the, hundred and $69 of the SF 0 1 so the key, differences are the SF 0 2 comes with an,additional brush head in the Box the SF,0 2 also has a 14 ounce reservoir, compared to the SF 0 1 which has a 15,ounce so the premium option actually has,a smaller reservoir in this case the SF,0 2 measures a little bit smaller, overall the design is slightly different, between the two of them but thats, really it mean go and check out our full, written review link in the description,so it goes into a bit more detail at the, differences but this is the SF 0 – the, premium one that Ive been testing here,so you can use this theres like two, parts to it youve got the electric, toothbrush and the water flosser but, where the water flosser you do have a,dedicated handle in this case you, actually use the toothbrush handle as,the handle for your water flosser kind,of get it so the water comes through, from the water flosser up into the, handle of the electric toothbrush and,out through the brush head which has a,specially designed brush head the nozzle, thats kind of jets out of water and you,get three brushing modes you can use the, toothbrush as a regular toothbrush you,can use the water flosser kind of on its,own you still using the toothbrush but,the toothbrush bristles etc arent, moving and then you combine the two and,you can have like a brushing and water, flossing experience together which i,dont really recommend because its just,a bit awkward in my opinion the actual, toothbrush doesnt perform too badly it,cleans the teeth fairly well its a,sonic cleaning action like a philips, sonicare electric toothbrush its quite, nice to hold in hand its a bit chunky, because its got a detachable hose, element that feeds the water in for when, using the flossing element, and considering the size the battery, life of just seven days is pretty poor, when most electric toothbrushes now have,a battery life of two weeks plus seven, days is pretty bad in my opinion and it,feels okay and its not cheap it but it,doesnt feel as premium as some electric, toothbrushes that have more rubber grips, its quite smartly designed on the, actual brush handle as well the brush, heads are of course detachable when, youve actually got the brush head in,action the brush makes this well I can, only call it a horrible sound I say a,horrible sound I dont like the sound in,comparison to sonic hair which is very, quiet this is really loud and makes a,much more higher pitch sort of whiny, sound than even the more mechanical, sounds of oral-b now Im sure you get, used to it but I was surprised at just, how much noise this electric toothbrush, actually made but to be fair it did, actually clean the teeth I cant say I,had a bad tooth cleaning experience, using it,[Applause],so the toothbrush handle sits on the, front of the water flossing guna and, youve got this detachable hose that, youll see need attached when you want,to use the water flossing element it,connects up to the power of our two pin,us power adapter and that works on a,hundred through to 240 volts so should, you travel with it and you dont need a,voltage adapter just a plug adapter so,when you come to actually flossing your, your teeth and what you do is you fill, the reservoir up on the unit and you, have ten pressure settings which range, from 10 to 100 psi its nice and smart, controlled via a dial on the side you, also get the units in a couple of nice, colors you get white with a chrome, accent Ive got the black and kind of,coppery rose gold color option here on,the brush handle youve got a couple of,buttons to actually change between the, brushing and flossing modes and then, when you actually use it you move the, toothbrush around your mouth directing,it to the area of the mouth you want to,sleep direct that water floss jet to now, where I found the difficulties with this, with the brush head its much larger and,a bit more cumbersome when youre trying,to get in between the teeth one of the, benefits of a traditional water, processor that has the individual jet, tips is you feel like you can get more, control now there is 360 degree rotation, essentially because the hose that, connects to the brush handle completely, rotates but that is limited by the size,of the handle and the fact youve got, this brush head it was just more awkward,in my opinion now it did provide a,different sensation when you use the, toothbrush and the water flosser, together but you kind of need to be over, the sink and dribbling out because of,the amount of water that comes through,it depending on the pressure settings, you get anywhere between about 85,through to 210 seconds of usage which is,pretty good so the higher end there, youre going to be at the lower end of,that time about 85 seconds but thats, still a good amount of flossing time and, potentially you can fill the reservoir, once and use it twice a day not having,to refill it each time although the, actual unit overall is a little bit, chunky because the fact is got the, reservoir and its quite smartly, designed and its not, largely looks at a place on a countertop,in your bathroom and and Waterpik have, done actually a good job with the, quality of materials and the way it,looks, you know everything feels quite good, that the brush handle is a little bit of,the exception in my opinion the actual, base unit works quite well and yeah not,not bad,in that respect and they actually, provide a three year warranty with it as,well which is something that they should,be given credit for the toothbrush, itself
Waterpik Sonic-Fusion Electric Toothbrush | Review |
hey everyone so im doing a um review,on this waterpik sonic fusion um i,received this,a couple days ago from amazon, this is actually our second one that we,received because the first one when we,opened it it actually had some, stains on the case so i didnt know if,it was used then i dont want to take, the chains,so this is the second one um so um,well go ahead and talk about it because,he hates the way i brush my teeth,i scrub my teeth really hard and its a,habit,um i know i shouldnt my dentist even, tells me i shouldnt, its a its something ive been doing, forever,um so hopefully this would help me from, doing that but,i can get it out,so i dont really like these um,electronic, toothbrush i had one before its the, cheap like 10,one and even when um,i had to cut on i would still do the, whole motion of brushing my teeth so,thats why i didnt think it was for me,but um after doing this for a couple, days,of you know i mean doing that for a,couple days i felt like, you know im just gonna toss it it just, was not good for me but, hopefully this would be different so,this is the base, and this you got the cord thats, completely, already um oh this is cool,i like that its its winded up already, and it winds right back, its a silver chrome wipe around it,heres the plug and then um thats where, the water, base sits heres your container, and youre supposed to fill it up with, warm water, and it goes, directly on the top,and then it also comes, with this case,so it has your handheld device, then it comes with, two um,whats this called like the bristle, thing and, just connect it and then its your brush,on the top floss on the bottom,[Music],and so the cool thing is that if you, travel,i go to somewhere visiting and you can, just put it in the case, and then you can brush your teeth that, way and you dont have to bring this, whole thing,so at least you have your manual not, manual but,on a toothbrush,so then, you stick the, cord thing connector on the bottom here, and then releases if you just push the, button itll come right off,but this is basically to connect for the, floss for the water flossing part, and then it just lines back really easy, that way,so ive ive tried this before, and um,[Music],the good thing about it is it,heres your pros it does clean well im,im pretty sure like when i brushed it,um it felt like the slimy, slippery kind of feel to my teeth like, when i,have when im leaving the dentist,um i like the water floss part, and i will show you in the sink later, how that works but,the um flaws part i think is kind of,uh mis conceiving because you know im,sure a lot of people would think that, this replaces you, actually flops in your own teeth but um,when i,used the water floss i went ahead behind,it,and flossed my teeth um afterwards with, the real floss and i actually was able,to get a couple things out of my teeth, still so i wouldnt, just depend on it solely on this water, pick,i would still floss my teeth so i dont, know if that would, just defeat the purpose of spending all, this money and still having the floss,um but the cons obviously was that it,wasnt getting everything out,the price was a little bit pricey for me,um,it is for me and then also its really, loud, ill cut it on but it is really loud, all right so i went ahead and added, water im gonna go ahead and connect it,um the only thing i want to say is that, really bothers me is that its really, loud,so if my kids are asleep it would just i,would just think that if i,started brushing my teeth and they were, right next you know in the room,im sleeping in my bed or something that,i will wake them up because its really, loud, but here is the sound,so there you go thats kind of loud for,me,then also,i know the cheap brushes are the cheap,um,electronic brushes that i had used, before it you could actually see it,moving in circles and this one,it doesnt really i dont know if you,can see that,oh probably not im trying to get the, feeling better they maybe this way,can you see it better that way,see so its like, you cant really see the most you know, the movement on this its barely even, moving to me and now i cant say that, its not really brushing my teeth well, but, for me mentally i would think that its, not, hopefully this doesnt spray everywhere, you see thats the water part im not, going to keep doing it because its just, spraying everywhere and i dont want to,i guess i can just do my mouth, but thats how you do it you gotta make, sure you keep your mouth closed, because it took me a minute to realize, that you have to keep,um you know you have to remember to keep,it closed if not its gonna spray all, over your mirror and,so i tried it with my uh you know we,have two sets,we ordered so i tried tried it with the, first one um,that my husband will order so me and him,got one and then um were gonna set the, send the first one back because that one, like i said from amazon it has stains on,the,on this on the container on the, front of it it looked like it was all,new but im not taking a chance so we,want to send that back, and not use that um this set,i dont know if were going to keep it,um i dont think we are i like the,um water floss part but knowing that i,still have to go behind a floss just to,get, every little bit out of my teeth i might, you know its just, paying almost 200 for this and then, having to still go behind is,kind of annoying and then its really, loud, and then not being able to see the, bristles actually really moving to me,in my mind mentally it just makes me,think thats not really brushing my,teeth,so i just rather do it myself or unless, theres a better version then, maybe ill try to test that out too, thanks for watching
