Introduction

Welcome to today's video! In this episode, I will be introducing a new free tool that allows you to generate your own collections with just a click of a button. Additionally, I will be sharing information about an upcoming hackathon and an opportunity to collaborate with me as part of the artist list. So, let's get started!

About the Free Tool

The free tool I am releasing is an alpha-stage visual aid based on the popular Hashlips Art Engine. This tool simplifies the process of creating NFT artworks, eliminating the need for coding knowledge. Whether you are an experienced developer or someone who prefers a visual interface, this tool is designed to cater to your needs.

Participating in the Hackathon

If you are interested in showcasing your skills and contributing to open-source code, I have exciting news for you! There will be a hackathon taking place in the middle of this year, providing an opportunity to win prizes. More information about the hackathon will be available soon, so stay tuned.

Becoming Part of the Artist List

Are you an artist looking to explore the NFT space? I want to support you on your journey. Fill out the form provided to be added to the artist list. I am planning an art movement to collaborate with artists in the NFT space, and this is your chance to be part of it. Don't hesitate to showcase your talent and fill in the form. I'm excited to see what you've got!

Installing the Tool

To utilize the free tool, you need to download and install it on your system. Visit the repository and navigate to the releases section. Choose the appropriate version for your operating system, whether it's for Mac with an M1 chip, Mac without an M1 chip, or Windows. Once downloaded, proceed with the installation process.

Using the Tool

Upon opening the tool, you will be greeted with the Hashlips Art Engine in a visual form. Please note that you will require layers, similar to what we used before, in a specific folder structure. Ensure that your folders only contain the necessary image files and follow the recommended structure.

Configuring the Tool

The tool provides a control section where you can configure various settings. Modify the number of NFTs to be generated, specify a name, symbol, and description for your collection. You can also adjust the height and width of the generated images according to your preferences.

Setting Input and Output Paths

To commence the generation process, you need to set the input and output paths. The input path should point to the layers folder containing the required attributes for your NFT collection. Select the layers folder and confirm the selection.

Similarly, choose an output path where the generated files will be saved. Select a suitable destination and confirm the selection.

Constructing the Layer Order

Once the paths have been set, you can proceed to the layer order configuration. This step allows you to arrange the layers in a specific order to create your desired NFT artwork. Drag and replace the layers in the order you prefer. Make sure to follow the recommended layer structure for optimal results.

Creating the Collection

After constructing the layer order, it's time to create your collection. Close the layer order configuration and navigate to the create section. Within a few clicks, the tool will start rendering your files, resulting in an organized built folder on your desktop. The folder will contain the generated images and their respective JSON files.

Replacing the CID

Before finalizing your NFTs, you need to replace the CID (Content Identifier) for each file. Upload your files to IPFS (InterPlanetary File System) and obtain the corresponding CID. Replace the existing code in the JSON files with the new IPFS link. This crucial step ensures the correct linkage of your artwork.

Uploading Files to IPFS

If you are unfamiliar with uploading files to IPFS, please refer to my previous videos for guidance. It is essential to follow the correct steps to ensure the successful transfer and retrieval of your files.

Updating Metadata

Once your files are uploaded and CID replacement is complete, you can update the metadata. Click on the update metadata option in the tool. Note that there might not be explicit feedback at this stage, but verification can be done by checking the JSON files.

Excitement for Trying the Tool

I hope you are equally excited to try out this new tool! It is designed to simplify the process of creating NFT collections, regardless of your coding experience. Share your thoughts and enthusiasm in the comments section and stay tuned for more updates.

Information about the Hackathon

As mentioned earlier, there will be a hackathon in the middle of this year. If you want to participate or if you have a team interested in joining, there will be more information available soon. Make sure to bookmark the link provided in the video description and keep an eye out for updates.

Invitation for Artists to Join the Artist List

Calling all artists! If you or someone you know is looking for support in the NFT space, consider joining the artist list. Fill out the form provided in the video description to express your interest. Collaboration opportunities are awaiting talented artists, so don't miss out on this chance to showcase your skills and work with me.

Conclusion

Thank you for joining me in this special episode where I introduced a free tool for generating NFT collections effortlessly. From installation to creating your artwork, I covered the entire process step by step. Remember to provide feedback if you encounter any issues, as this tool is still in its alpha stage. Stay tuned for more exciting updates and opportunities in the NFT space. Have an amazing day and subscribe to my channel for more engaging content. Cheers!
