Introduction

Hey guys, it's Pae! Welcome back to another random OC generator episode. In this video, I'm excited to show you the progress I've made on my birthstone custom collection. We have completed Pearl, and I'll also update you on Ruby. I will also be showing you the options for base figures for Peridot and giving you the opportunity to vote for the base figure for Sapphire. So, let's get started!

Pearl Progress

As you might remember, you all chose the snail as the base figure for Pearl. I wanted to create a headdress made of pearls to match her name and added pearl-colored dots on the shell to enhance the theme. To give her a whimsical and granny-inspired look, I added small lace details around the headdress and on her antennae. I made sure to make her eyes beautiful and complementary to the overall design. I am very happy with how Pearl turned out, and I hope you all love her too, especially those born in June.

Ruby Update

Now, let's talk about Ruby. She has been base coated and is ready to be painted. Based on your feedback in the comments, I will be changing the color of her feet tips to red instead of silver, as shown in the original sketch. I am really excited to start painting Ruby and share the final result with you all next week. Let me know if you have any other suggestions or preferences for her design.

Peridot Concept

Next, let's discuss Peridot. You all voted for the little chick as the base figure for Peridot. I struggled a bit with choosing the color scheme and concept for this one but ended up going back to my original sketch, which I really liked. I wanted to create a tribal-themed and unique design for Peridot. I kept the base white to make the green peridot gem stand out. I added complementary green shades on the cheeks with little stripes and designed a tribal-inspired headdress and detailed necklace. Please let me know your thoughts and suggestions for Peridot's design.

Voting for Sapphire

Now, it's time for you to vote for the base figure for Sapphire. This week, I have selected four options for you to choose from. Please keep in mind that this week's choices are limited to mammals and fish. Option 1 is a little mouse with a dark blue gem on its head, which I think would look amazing. Option 2 is another mouse, but this one is standing up, allowing for more creative possibilities. Option 3 is a little fish, perfect for a beautiful blue gem with different shades of blue. Option 4 is an octopus, which has been in the voting several times but hasn't found a suitable birthstone yet. Choose the base figure that you think would be perfect for Sapphire, and I will do my best to create a cool custom based on your choice.

Remaining Birthstones

While we are on the topic of birthstones, let me show you the remaining gems for October, November, and December. For October, we have Opal and Tourmaline. I personally chose Tourmaline because it is my birth month, and I find pink to be a lovely color. November has Topaz, a beautiful yellow stone. Lastly, for December, we have Zircon, a light blue gem that is slightly darker than Aquamarine. It's perfect for a winter-themed custom, as December is a winter month. I am excited to work on these customs and showcase them in a video, so stay tuned for that!

October Birthstone: Opal and Tourmaline

October brings us two magnificent birthstones - Opal and Tourmaline. Opal is known for its iridescent play-of-color, which gives it a magical and captivating appearance. Tourmaline, on the other hand, comes in a variety of colors, but the most common is pink. Pink Tourmaline represents love and compassion. Both stones have their own unique qualities and symbolism, making them perfect choices for those born in October.

November Birthstone: Topaz

For those born in November, the birthstone is Topaz. Topaz comes in a range of colors, including yellow, orange, and brown. It is known for its warmth and positive energy. Topaz is believed to bring success, abundance, and good fortune to its wearer. It is also associated with strength and protection. If you were born in November, Topaz is the perfect gemstone to celebrate your birth.

December Birthstone: Zircon

December babies have the beautiful gemstone Zircon as their birthstone. Zircon is a stunning light blue gem that resembles the color of a clear winter sky.
