The YouTube Community Names My Dungeons & Dragons Characters

Introduction

Hello everyone, CJ here. Let's do something fun this week. Let's look at how the YouTube community named my Dungeons & Dragons characters. If you have been following the Class Cut series, you would discover that there is a background narrative that ties together all the D&D characters I created for the channel.

The Story Behind the Dungeons & Dragons Characters

It all started with Stereos, the fighter. Stereos was chilling out, maxing, relaxing all cool outside his mom's house when a couple of guys who were up to no good started making trouble in his neighborhood. He got in one little fight and he got messed up, so his mom said, "You're going to the fighter school in the capital." And that's how the story started.

Next, we meet Lera lien, the perpetually stoic wizard. We meet the gnome rogue, Broke, and Grant, the excitable dwarven cleric. Together, they make the core adventuring party. There is also Garlock's and Bindra, the legendary wrestler NPCs who are half-elf full brothers. But that's all the main characters I had.

Naming the Characters

When I created the rest of the characters, I hadn't thought of giving them names. I only needed archetypal characters to fill in some roles for the class guide. But then, it felt like something was missing if I left them without names. And that's when the YouTube community came in.

I asked my subscribers to name these characters, and the name with the most likes would be selected as their official name. No backsies, the name is final. It was a great idea, or is it? You be the judge. So, here is a list of the top ten winning names selected by the YouTube community.

3.1. The Half-Elf Fighter: Stereos

In third place, we have Dylan's Chillbreaker with 41 likes. Then, we have Our Win Strongarm at second place with 96 likes. But the winning name has to be pretty spectacular to beat those two. And the winner is... Fault. Just Fault. Apparently, Bob was a great name too.

3.2. The Coastal Druid: High Tide

Moving on to number nine, we have the druid, Drew. At third place, we have Tallulah Tightseeker with 30 likes. In second place, we have Maui the Moist Turner with 60 likes. But the winner is... High Tide with 164 likes. This is a pretty cool one for the coastal druid.

3.3. The Sorcerer: Waifu

Next up is the sorcerer. In third place, we have Rowther with 87 likes. Puff the Magic Dragon who lives by the sea comes in second place with 95 likes. And the winner is... Waifu with 139 likes. It seems like the influence of the class and the name goes well together.

3.4. The Magical Maid: Jax Pellington

Moving to number six, we have the magical maid. In third place, we have Amorous with 39 likes. In second place, we have Lilith with 83 likes. But the winner, by a crushing overwhelming margin, is Waifu with 234 likes. It seems you guys like the name.

3.5. The Final Boss: Richard the Nature

Now we come to the final boss. In third place, we have Ambidextrous the Two with 62 likes. In second place, we have Jax Pellington with 178 likes. And the winner, by a close margin, is Richard the Nature with 186 likes. An original name that won by being unique.

3.6. The Ogre Henchman: Tinker Bell

Next is the ogre henchman of the final boss. At second place, we have Brawnlaw the Unmovable with 56 likes. But the contest comes humming seriously with 145 likes. The winning name is Tinker Bell. A playful and unexpected name for an ogre.

3.7. The Lich: Isaac Newton

Moving on to number four, we have the Lich. In third place, we get Ambidextrous the Two with 62 likes. In second place, we have Jax Pellington with 178 likes. And the winner, by a close margin, is Richard the Nature with 186 likes.

3.8. The Halfling Bard: Danny DeVito

At number two, we have the halfling bard. In third place, we get Aslow Hill with 35 likes. In second place, we've got Mary with 50 likes. But the winning name, written by an overwhelming margin, is She Took the Dough and Rolled It Up Into a Ball and She and We Were Gonna Buzz Her. She loves that kind of stuff. Danny DeVito.

3.9. The Master Ranger: Morning Wood

Lastly, we have the master ranger. In third place, we have Katniss Ever Dream with 75 likes. The wayfinder comes in at second place with 109 likes. But the winning name, the most impressive name the YouTube community can come up with, is Morning Wood with 197 likes. A name that lingers in your mind.

Impact of the Names

So there you have it, a top ten list of the most impactful NPC names created by the YouTube community. While what's good or bad is subjective, these names were chosen based on their impact. If you think a better name should have won or if you have a better suggestion, feel free to post in the comments.

Conclusion

I hope you enjoyed this fun little side quest of naming my Dungeons & Dragons characters. Stay tuned for the next episode of the Class Cut series. And if you haven't subscribed yet, please do so to not miss out on more TNT videos from the channel. CJ over and out.
