Testing Gen Z's General Knowledge

In today's technologically advanced world, it is easy to question the general knowledge of younger generations. The OC Fair in Orange County, California provided the perfect opportunity to put the knowledge of Gen Z to the test. Through a series of trivia questions and challenges, we aimed to determine just how much they know about various subjects. The results were both surprising and thought-provoking, highlighting the strengths and weaknesses of the American educational system.

This captivating experiment began with an interview of Octavia, Tati, and Ruby - three confident Gen Z individuals ready to showcase their intelligence. The first question asked was about their confidence in general knowledge. While Octavia and Tati expressed certainty in their smarts, Ruby doubted her own abilities.

Nursery rhymes, a childhood staple, were used as the next testing ground. The participants were asked to complete the famous nursery rhyme, "Jack and Jill went up the hill...". While their answers varied, it was evident that some had a better grasp on the rhyme than others.

Moving on to geographical knowledge, the focus shifted to Africa. How many African nations could these young individuals name? The responses ranged from a few correct answers to complete uncertainty.
